Mas d'Estiéu CUCURON Authentic Secure MAS Provençal with Pool View -near Village

Beautiful villa and a lovely town.

We all loved the place and were very comfortable. Two weeks was not enough…

We chose this property partly due to its location right by the pretty village of Cucuron. We chose well. To have the amenities of a village in your doorstep was a real bonus. Not having to drive every time you needed something. The house itself is very well furnished. My wife fell in love with many of the furnishings there. Pool, Pétanque and table tennis. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for luxury, with local shops and restaurants within walking distance. Christel the property manager was also extremely helpful.

This villa is truly the perfect spot in Provence. The house is even more beautiful than the photos show. It's extremely spacious, and no detail has been overlooked. The house is very comfortable - we were 2 families with 2 teens and 2 parents each and there was MORE than enough space to feel like we all had plenty of space. Bathrooms are elegant and modern (and lots of them!) and the kitchen is very well outfitted and comfortable for a group. All the furniture is both very tasteful and super comfortable. A perfect mix for a holiday. The house's location is beyond perfect. The views of Provence countryside with pink skies every evening, coupled with the front of the house being in Cucuron, which is the most charming town (and it truly has everything you could want/need). Our teens were able to go on their own to town to the SPAR (small grocery) or to the Gelateria, the Pizza truck (great pizza by the L'Etang), the hamburger spot (right next to Mama's Pizza - they said the hamburgers were excellent), or one of the boulangeries (we tended to go to ACD as they had the best selection). Nothing is more than 5 minutes' walk away. We also enjoyed meals at La Dame Jeanne and Le Circle - both really memorable. Of course, don't miss the Tuesday market at L'Etang (we also loved the local Artisan store, the CUC Factory). One of the great parts of this Villa is Christel, the house manager. She is also a trained chef and we had her in to cook a fabulous 4 course meal one night - a real highlight. She also coordinated reservations for us at a few places including at the Michelin-star La Closerie (one of the best meals I've ever had). She was extremely helpful and friendly. Of course, the backyard with the pool and the stunning gardens is a highlight, all surrounded by unbelievable views. We lived out there! You cannot go wrong booking this Villa. It is everything that's advertised and more. We will forever have wonderful memories of our time spent there.

Clean, lovely home in sweet village of Cucuron. For us, the quiet of country with the convenience of being on the edge of the village. The home stayed cool in very hot weather and there was AC in the bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen, fast WIFI, and Christel is great house manager who helped arrange a very special birthday party. Could not recommend more!

To anyone even considering renting this property: just book it. I promise you will not regret it. Mas D’Estieu is exactly as pictured and in the most wonderful location. The furniture is exceedingly stylish and comfortable. There was ample space to both gather or have solo time for reading. The pool area was spectacular, with sturdy umbrellas that made it easy to enjoy the sun or be in the shade as we desired. We had a pétanque tournament in the backyard which was quite fun. The views at sunset from the pétanque court are the things dreams are made of. We could walk to town to go to the market on Tuesday or the boulangerie every morning for fresh baguettes. We had cars and were able to explore Provence. We went to many of the little villages surrounding Cucuron and visited wineries in the area. There are so many wineries and olive oil mills within short driving distance which was a treat for us. Christel, the house manager, was a pleasure to work with. She made excellent recommendations for activities and restaurants (l’petit resto was superb)! She helped us stock the home with provisions for our stay. She is also a chef and can prepare chef a domicile meals cooked for you at Mas D’Estieu - she is an excellent cook! This was great for our group of 9, as many of the restaurants are too small to accommodate large groups. I would love to return to Mas D’estieu to continue to explore Provence

We (familly of 4) spent a great week at the end of our Provence trip in Dominique's beautiful house at the skirt of small Luberon village Cucuron and loved it. It is to be mentioned that the house is part of the village, so there are neighbours, you will definitly hear the road traffic, sometimes machines on the fields around. During our stay there was a circus at the other side of the village and we could hear the music in the evening. But for us it was all fine. We slept well and didn't feel disturbed by noise at all. Cucuron is a sweet small village, not as touristic and nothing special like Lourmarin or Bonnieux, but we enjoyed to be able to go to the boulangerie, the small supermarché or the small market by foot. For the bigger shopping you better use the SuperU not far away by car. From Cucuron you can easily do little tours to all the beautiful villages in the Luberon. The house itself really has everything you need, is not only perfectly equipped with brandnew stuff (WiFi nearly everywhere, pingpong table, babyfoot, etc.) but also decorated with great taste. We just loved the interior design and the mix of furniture. The garden is marvelous and has a nice view. The pool is great and big enough, the terrace beautiful for breakfast & dinner, the couch area a nice place to hang out. The boule court with sophisticated lighting is really special to even play latenight. Check in and out with property manager Christel was very kind and informative. As there haven't been too many guests after renovation, she asked us to tell her if we see things that could be improved and noted the very few small points we made at the end. It's been a beautiful experience and we'd definitely love to come back. Merci beaucoup, Dominique!

We really enjoyed staying at the house. It was exactly as described and has a wonderful feel about it. 3 families could easily stay but not feel on top of each other. It was a restful break and the house is in a great location to the Village and things to do around. The accommodation was excellent, couldn’t fault it, very spacious property, lovely décor and the location was excellent, will definitely be back. Highly recommend

What a wonderful week end we had in Mas d'Estieu! Your house was perfect for us. We loved all the separate areas, the nooks and crannies. The outside entertaining area was perfect for all of us and the kids loved their upstairs bedroom. We fell in love with Mas d'Estieu partly thanks to the convenient and wonderful location of your house. Thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at mas d'Estieu. What a beautiful house in a special location. The house worked really well with two families with young children. Gorgeous furnishings inside and out, but still family friendly. Everything was great quality and the kitchen was amazing with everything we could possibly need. We definitely recommend and hope to return again! House was amazing and in a fantastic location, easy 100 m stroll to the Cucuron village. Terraces was also beautiful space for breaky, lunch and afternoon drinks and nibbles enjoyed outside. Large kitchen bench was useful for nibbles and food prep for 8 adults.
