Martinique, Le Diamant.300 m from the beach, Villa with private pool Tropical garden

Amélie was an excellent host and we adored our time in this little tropical paradise. A great value for the money and gorgeous setting!

Amélie and Julien were wonderful hosts and they did everything possible to make our stay amazing. The accommodations were great, the local beach was beautiful, and the recommendations they made contributed to a great vacation.

Relaxing place, lots of outside living experience with tropical garden, birds, tiny pool. Walking distance to small beach, good location to explore the south of Martinique.

Very pleasant open-air living with well-equipped kitchen and spacious deck with lots of birds. Walk to secluded beach. You will need a car to get to restaurants and shopping. Difficult to find because no street names or numbers within La Cherry, so forget Google maps.

Our little family of three (son aged 8) stayed here for two weeks. This is a very special place with everything we needed. Grocery store close by, two secluded beaches a short walk away and very swimable, and very central location for exploring the island. Amelie and Julien were lovely hosts, helping to orient us to Martinique and to settle in. Definitely visit La Plage de Fond Banane - great beach and the Aqua Grill is a delicious beach restaurant. So many great memories made here. Will definitely look to come back again. Merci Amélie & Julien!!!

We enjoyed staying at this cottage, with its 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Amelie and Julien were very welcoming, easy to deal with, and quite helpful. The property was clean, and the kitchen well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. It was nice having the small plunge pool. The kitchen and eating areas are open air; certain days we had mosquitoes and found that burning mosquito coils (which were supplied) worked best. The master suite is really lovely, with pretty decor and a comfortable bed. The 2nd bedroom is somewhat smaller, with a smaller bed (something to keep in mind if 2 couples are sharing. One couple will get more space.) La Cherry is a quiet, residential area. There's a small beach within walking distance; Le Diamant beach is great for walking and sometimes surfing (although the water can be rough, with stong currents, so not ideal for most swimming). A very calm beach is at O'Mullane, if you park your car and walk across a small soccer field. We really appreciated the information from the owner about restaurants and beaches. One thing to keep in mind: groceries stores and bakeries close at 12 noon or 1pm on Sundays! And few restaurants are open on Sundays. It's good to be prepared. Overall, we felt the rental was good value for money and that the space was great for a couple with 2 teenagers. We had a relaxing, no-stress vacation in Martinique and hope to return soon.

We absolutely loved staying at this gem of a place in La Cherry, Le Diamant! Amelie was an amazing host and very welcoming. The place is so unique and the picures don't even do it justice. A great beach was just a 3 minute walk away and gentler waves than Le Diamant, so good with our toddler. We also enjoyed dinners in Le Diamant and day trips to St. Anne, Les Anses D'arlet. We loved having our own pool and the beautiful gardens. The outdoor kitchen and dining space was perfect for our tropical vacation. We hope to return to Martinique some day and would love to stay here again. The rooms were lovely and it was great for our family of 3, but could fit more.
