The Mapes Experience



In the midst of the remarkable collection of mountain homes comprising

prestigious Windcliff Estates, the Mapes family has created a masterpiece — a

masterpiece you can enjoy during your stay in Estes Park, CO.. The Mapes

luxury vacation rental home is exhilaratingly modern and fresh, while

embracing a comfortable, natural feel to its interior. As you enter from the

welcoming foyer, you'll be embraced by the open living room. Rich lodge-style

leather seating huddles near the remotely-controlled gas fireplace, awaiting

your company. The grand views from the angled panels above that same fireplace

put you in the middle of the Rocky Mountains. A wall of reclaimed wood and

Southwestern artifacts add even more unique character to your surroundings.



The Kitchen at Mapes



As you journey into the kitchen, you'll find this a chef's paradise; a

culinary artist's dream come true. One of its best features: space... and more

space! What seems like a full acre of dark granite is the perfect playing

field for culinary experimentation. Stacked ovens, an induction range, a

microwave drawer, and two dishwashers (you were planning a banquet, weren't

you ) are ready to elevate your mountain vacation meals to full-on feasts. The

Mapes family has provided every tool, utensil, and amenity that you could

possibly desire here — your imagination is the only missing ingredient. Two

handsome decks, just off the living and dining areas, offer alternative

locales for taking meals... or just relaxing. A beautiful laundry room (trust

us, you will want to take it home with you) is also situated near the kitchen.



Lodging and Rest at Mapes



The Mapes residence incorporates five bedrooms and five bathrooms, affording

space for eight guests. The master suite is privately situated one flight up,

and it's a master suite indeed. A gas fireplace flanks the sleeping chamber,

ensuring the perfect atmosphere for a cozy night. With your head resting on

the pillow, you can look out directly to a panoramic glass panel showcasing

the Continental Divide. For an invigorating start to your morning, sit in the

luxurious air-jet soaking tub — featuring its own mountain view. An immense

glass-enclosed shower is also close at hand. Tiles, wood, metal, and

distinctive lighting harmonize in tune with the gorgeous vistas forever at

hand. An ensuite queen bedroom — replete with a wall-mounted TV and mirrored

furnishings — plus a king suite constitute the sleeping accommodations on the

main level.



Entertainment at Mapes



Downstairs, you'll discover a home theater and game room, featuring a cozy

library of books and games, plus a large screen TV and DVD player. This area

is joined by two additional ensuite bedrooms. One of these is a bunkhouse room

with three twin beds... guaranteed to be a kids' delight!



The Hot Tub at Mapes



And just outside, on a sprawling patio, rests a majestic hot tub. It stands

ready to recharge your muscles after a long hike or a horseback trek in Rocky

Mountain National Park. This hot tub also happens to be perfectly positioned

to enjoy one of the greatest views of nature you'll find on Earth — right here

in Estes Park, Colorado.
