MANUFACTURE - Typical village house with salt treatment pool

We absolutely loved our stay here. An interesting blend of serious vintage character, but fully equipped with AC and moder kitchen appliances. The pool was huge and absolutely beautiful, as was the garden, (which, although it had beautiful flowers, thankfully didn't have too many bees or wasps.)

We couldnt decide between staying in lagos or abufueira or renting a villa or staying at a resort/hotel. We chose this place deciding we wanted somewhere close to amenities but in a central location so nothing was too far. We travelled to lagos portomaio calvielro silves and abufueira as well as some nice beaches - All under 30 minutes. We wanted to explore the area vs sit around in one spot so this was good option. (Pardon all my spelling) 2 hours from lisbon. 45 to faro airport. I am glad I picked this place as the pool is great and the place is spacious and comfortable with amentites you need. A nice indoor and outdoor chicken. Lots of bathrooms and showers. You will need your own car. Hosts are nice people who work hard and want you to have a nice stay. They make themselves available to help but also respect privacy. They are not a large propety management company - it is a family effort and you can tell they really care about your experience. If you want a really nice home base to explore from and relax at this place is for you.

We loved our stay here and will be very keen to come back next year. The outside area and private pool was lovely with lots of seating and sun loungers if you didn't want to sit in the sun. Inside the beds were comfy and the kitchen was well equipped with crockery and utensils. We were happy to hire a car and drive to the local shops and other attractions in the area. I think it would be quite difficult to get food shopping etc. if you didn't have a car. Cidalia was a lovely kind host and even invited us to eat with her and her Mother on our last day Can't wait to come back

Grande maison avec tout ce que vous pourriez souhaiter. Endroit calme et idéal pour explorer l'Algarve. La maison est pleine de charme, encore plus sympa que sur les photos. Très beau jardin bien fleuri et grande piscine magnifique !! Nous étions avec cinq personnes et nous avons vraiment apprécié l'hospitalité de Cidália. Merci.

The beautiful house feels like home, inside it's very cosy and comfortable. In the kitchen everything is there to cook your meals. All the oranges and lemons we got every day from the owner gaves us great juices!! The garden with the swimming pool is beautiful with all the privacy you want. The host, Cidalia and her mother are great and very welcoming Place we would love to come back!!

Very nice restored and modernized, house in the countryside. Quiet and peaceful, tidy and neat with all everyday facilities. Very pleasant hostess, and, though, in the countryside only 15 min. away from great beaches,nature,malls,entertainment and interesting locations, such as Silves,and a bit further; Portimão,Monchique,Cabo da Roca,simply, all of the Algarve within reach, and still in a private atmosphere amongst locals. Very recommendable if you seek authentic Portuguese atmosphere :-)
