Making Waves Oceanfront/Pet Friendly/Less then 10 Steps to Beach off deck!

The beach house was in a fantastic location with the best view as possible. It had floor to ceiling windows where you could look out at the ocean 24 hours a day. It was quiet, comfortable good beds in a very relaxing experience. You will not find a better view of an ocean setting in Folly Beach.

We loved our first stay in 2017 so we had to book again for 2025. The location is ideal for us as it was just outside the busy part of folly beach town but close enough we could easily drive into town within 5-10 minutes. Fully stocked kitchen and essentials which made it easy to cook and clean. I also appreciated the functional dishwasher and washing machine. Everything worked well and was easy to navigate. A big bonus was fenced in porch for our pups for them to hang out in while we were on the beach during restricted times. The two biggest positives apart from the amazing view and access to the beach was being able to bring our pups and booking a partial week as we are not a full week vacation family. The property manager and/or owner was very responsive and helpful when needed. 5 stars all around!

Many bath outlets did not work, one bathroom door did not close, floor sunk in one bathroom feeling unstable, one day rained and entire underneath of home flooded. Ceilings were low and one tall person in our party had to be very careful not to hit his head. He did, however, hit his head many times under house where we parked. I would have liked a broom or vacuum available to help with sand since we had a 3 year old and one year old.

We absolutely loved this beach house. It is in an ideal location and was very comfortable. We would definitely rent it again.

This is a wonderful house. Better than the listing. A great living room kitchen area with wall to ceiling oceanfront windows a great big deck with hot water outdoor shower Host was great too.

We’ve stayed at many properties at Folly Beach, but this will be our new annual destination! It was immaculately clean and we loved the unobstructed view of the ocean. You couldn’t get any closer to the beach

We absolutely loved this beautiful house on the beach. The views were amazing! House was in a great location and very clean. We booked for next year already because we had such a great stay! Would 100% recommend this house if you plan on going to Folly.

We absolutely loved the place!! The pictures are everything this place is and more. Being right on the ocean with all the amenities for my family. Dianne was quick to respond when texting. This beach house was an amazing vacation for my family!!

Perfect spot, had a great time

Great location at the quiet end of Folly Beach. You can't get any closer to the beach without being in the water. The house had starters for all paper products and a fully stocked kitchen for cooking. The floor length family room windows kept the beach feel alive on our 1 rainy day.

Our family had a wonderful time at Making Waves! The location is absolutely stunning and the host communication was perfect. We hope to return again soon to this wonderful beach retreat- perfect for a family looking to relax in a quiet and serene setting!

We stayed 4 days over spring break. Great house and location. This house is the epitome of Folly and great for a single family with a dog.

We were in town for two soccer games in the area and jumped on the opportunity to stay at the beach. Folley Beach is fantastic, however I wouldn’t go during peak season; too peoplely for me! This house is legit on the beach and away from the downtown hustle and bustle, although a very simple bike ride or golf cart ride away. I would bring / rent bikes or a golf cart due to the significant lack of parking downtown. Just like any other beach town the no-see-umm were out in full force (yes even at this house). The house is simple and has everything you need. The gated deck was enjoyed thoroughly by our pups. We will definitely come back to the area and would consider this house again.

The perfect beach house that allows you to step out your door and on to the beach. ( with your dog! ) Super clean and well equipped. Love the new deck and stairs. We stay here often!

We are locals from the Charleston area and have gone on our family staycation to Folly for the past 6-7 years and this was our favorite house we have ever had. The pictures don't do it justice. We loved how open the kitchen/living space was with massive windows that provided a great view. The outside deck was also amazing! Almost didn't want to go sit down on the beach because the deck was so close! We will be back next year!

This house and property was amazing. Couldn’t get any closer to the beach. The deck is the best ever. The babies love the beach so much and the adults were so pleased with our stay.

Had a great time at Making waves property. House was well stocked and very clean. Exactly as described. Location couldn’t be more perfect. Close to restaurants but good distance away from the crowds at the pier. High tide was not an issue. Had plenty beach space all morning/day/evening. Went with 2 adults & 3 toddlers. Ample space for all. Everyone had a blast. Will definitely come again.

We have been coming to the house for years and continue to love it! It has everything we need along with the best views and location on the island. Plus, Dianne is always incredibly responsive. Exceptional property!
