Absolutely great home with incredible views! The Very clean, well stocked and the bed was super comfortable! The town of Mentone is very quaint and we very much enjoyed learning a new place. Thanks for a great trip and we hope to return soon!

Everything was perfect for what we needed! The view (sunset) was amazing The bed was so comfortable. All those little things you might forget if cooking was there for you to use. From the swing on the bluff to the covered hot tub it was PERFECT!!

This cottage was perfect for our 12 day stay in Mentone. There is nothing we needed that we couldn’t find, the cottage couldn’t have been more comfortable, and the view was stellar. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay! Upon entering my first thought was how welcoming the decor was and the beautiful views from the large windows! It was breathtaking to watch the sunset over the mountains every evening! They had everything we needed to accommodate our stay. We were impressed with all the extras like providing laundry detergent and dryer sheets, as well as coffee and condiments. There was even some food in the cabinets just in case you needed it. Beach towels were even provided for the hot tub. We have stayed in many vrbo in the past and this place has topped our list as most accommodating for the amenities and comfortable atmosphere. The beds were comfortable too! We really looked forward to coming home every evening.

We loved our stay at Valhalla. There were beautiful sunsets every night. Enjoyed our bonfires with smores and time in the hot tub. It was very quiet and peaceful.The beds were very comfortable and we had all we needed for dishes and supplies. Thank you for sharing your awesome home!We give it a 10!

We had another wonderful stay at this property where we are able to unplug, watch sunsets and go for hikes on nearby trails in Mentone area. An added bonus this trip was being there when it snowed. Highly recommend.

Really great place with wide unobstructed views from the top of Lookout Mountain. The property had everything we needed: hot tub, fireplace, campfire ring, comfy beds, and everything was clean and worked well. Definitely will stay again in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Valhalla! The house was perfectly situated on the brow for a great view. The house was well appointed. We ate dinner at the house each evening and had everything necessary for cooking and serving nice meals. We also made use of the fire pit and hot tub, and both had great views. We would highly recommend Valhalla to anyone!

Valhalla is a perfectly situated cabin for a mountain getaway! The view overlooking the valley is breathtakingly beautiful! There is so much to do in the area. We enjoyed exploring activities in Alabama, Georgia, AND Tennessee! The cabin itself was like a home away from home. We were not lacking for anything!

From the moment we made our way up the mountain and to house the views were breathtaking, but when we pulled down the driveway and saw Valhalla we were in awe of its beauty. We parked and immediately went to sit in the swing that over looks the gorge. It brought tears to my eyes. The house is unique with its tree house feel. Windows on either side of the house ,2 fire places , and hot tub! It was all so magical. Everything you could want for a romantic getaway. We will definitely be back.

Home was nice and clean. Loved the details inside and out and the view. Wish it hadn't been raining, cause I sure the sunsets are amazing. Loved not having a neighbor so close that you can reach out and shake their hand from the porch, just enough isolation, but still within minutes of town.
