Breathtaking Views over Carsington Water from the Barn, situated on the 8.5 mile circular walk around the lake. Secure off road parking, a private terrace and over an acre of secluded garden. Fabulous Gastro pub in the village (2 min walk). Situated centrally to over 100 the Peak District Attractions, Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Tissington including Dovedale High Peak Trail & Alton Towers. Ashbourne, Wirksworth, Bakewell & Matlock are all between 10 & 20 mins drive.

Lakeview Barn Carsington is extremely spacious, and suits 2 couples or a large family perfectly, offering 2 luxurious, en-suite bedrooms (one upstairs, one downstairs) with zip & link, 1000 pocket sprung, Superking beds, which can both be arranged as twin beds for a group, if preferred.

Featuring amazing lake views, from floor to ceiling, with Crittal style windows and French doors out onto a private terrace with outdoor dining for 8.
The barn boasts a super spacious kitchen & dining area which is very well equipped to cater for larger families & groups. An extra large dining table with bench seating which can seat 8 guests comfortably. A 50 inch wall mounted TV, two fan ovens and a large electric hob, 50/50 fridge/freezer, ice maker, perfect for entertaining or small celebrations/conference.

All rooms have lamps and soft lighting, creating ambience when required. French doors lead out onto an upper terrace, with steps down to a very large, private lower terrace, and a comfortable outdoor dining area for 8 guests.

GARDENS & TERRACE
Over 1/4 acre of private gardens with an excellent view of the lake from the barn and both terraces. Extremely comfortable, Bramblecrest garden furniture provided for outdoor entertaining and off road, gated parking for up to 3 cars. Safe & Securely gated garden, suitable for young children.     The accommodation was very comfortable and wonderfully quiet.The close proximity to pubs resteraunts and general amenities gave the best of both worlds, a countryside location but still accessible to things you need.I enjoyed making a connection with you Pam and look forward to getting to know you and Nick in the future.It would have been nice to get to know Nick better instead of a brief meet at the property which was my fault.You were perfect hosts knowing you were there if we needed you.Thankyou x

    We really enjoyed our stay at the Hopton House barn. This is one of the best rentals we've ever stayed in. The house was modern, decorated very tastefully and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay in the Peak District. It was a perfect home base for touring the area and ta couple of walks during our six day visit. Communication with the host was excellent, including instructions on locating the property, check in/out and even some restaurant recommendations for nearby spots. Even though there were only two of us, the house can easily accommodate several more people. If we're ever back in the Peak District, we'll be sure to visit again. We loved it.

    We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, modern, and spotlessly clean countryside cabin. The owner was kind and welcoming. The cabin’s cozy yet stylish design was perfect for our family, offering all the comforts we needed. Surrounded by serene nature, it was an ideal escape from the city. We loved every moment and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this charming retreat for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway!

    The pictures were nice but reality was even better! Tastefully decorated, thoughtfully presented. Kitchen and lounge were perfect spaces for a family gathering. Enjoyed every minute. The host’s restaurant recommendations were also spot on. We had a lovely lunch and afternoon at Wildhive.

    From the moment I made the initial enquiry, Pamela was fabulous! She provided lots of information, responded quickly to messages and was so helpful in highlighting local attractions/places to eat etc. Lake View Barn is a beautiful property with everything we needed for our stay. Beds are very comfortable and linens are high quality and luxurious. Definitely recommend this beautiful home to others

    We booked this property as a place to remote work and explore the area. It fit the need with space for 2 adults and 2 kids. Pamela was very attentive with requests (extra towels, boards games for rain days). The property is in great condition.

    We had a really lovely stay. The property is beautifully decorated throughout and spotlessly clean. Very well equipped. Well situated for Carsington water. We visited Hopton hall and the local pub ( miners arms ) around 5 minutes walk.
