Decadent Georgian Residence

Beautiful property, extremely well maintained & incredibly well stocked and clean.The house is perfectly located for a 5 minute walk into Matlock and ideal for visiting the local area. The rooms are huge, beds beyond comfy & the kitchen and bathrooms have all the latest mod cons!Lizzie was a dream host to deal with, great communication from when we booked it 16months prior to our stay, to answering queries during our stay!10/10 & would recommend to everyone!

What a beautiful house. We, along with all of our guest's had an amazing time.The house has everything you will need at a very high standard. Immaculately clean, tidy.It has made my 60th birthday that extra bit special.Also close to Matlock town, within walking distance.Highly recommend a stay at St Andrews HouseOh, and just a wordabout Joyce, the house keeper. Lizzie’s house is absolutely wonderful! So picturesque, well stocked + the perfect mix of stylish + cozy! We had a wonderful time here with a large group of family + friends as the home base for our wedding + reception this past weekend ☺️ The space worked better than we had hoped for everything we planned both on the day + our private chef dinner the next. Everyone who came has already asked us when we’ll do a reunion here! Lizzie is so kind + an excellent host! She responded very quickly to all of my numerous planning questions before our stay + anything we needed during. Her decor is thoughtful, bedrooms nicely spacious + come with all necessities, bathrooms palatial + all spaces are warm + inviting. We also rented the bolthole which allowed us to have the entire property to ourselves. Helpful given the flurry of action all weekend + allowed us to manage parking, etc more easily. We definitely had to use overflow street parking given the size of the lot and the size of most of our cars (SUVs). The driveway takes some getting used to in larger vehicles but isn’t bad. You’ll definitely have to coordinate a bit with any vendors you use to find it though. There are a bunch of lovely walking paths accessible from the property both into Matlock and off towards the waterfall nearby. For feeling so secluded, the house is still very close to everything you’ll need! Can’t recommend Lizzie + her gorgeous Georgian House enough! Come experience the magic yourself!

Amazing property; super resposive host; lovely town!

What a gorgeous house to reunite with friends for a long weekend. It was cosy and so decadent. Everything felt so luxurious and the location was amazing as well. Cannot recommend enough!

This house is absolutely beautiful, it was spotlessly clean and had great facilities for a large group. We loved every minute of it and having such beautiful scenery to walk in straight from the doorstep was the icing on the cake

Fantastic property with plenty of space for the full capacity of guests. All bedooms are excellent with a bathroom on each floor. 2 lounges that are linked by double doors, dining table big enough for the whole group and a well equipped large kitchen.
