Luxury Mountain Retreat- Main House w/ 2 Guest Houses in Highlands, NC!

The house(s) were beautifully appointed. The fabrics and wallpaper were top notch. Linens were high end. The kitchen had everything you needed(possibly need a rolling pin). The dishes ,glassware, pots/pans were all quality, matching. My only disappointment would be that nearly every drawer,cupboard,closet had leftover stuff in themscrews,lightbulbs,extra artwork,extra drawer pulls,wallpaper…. If they could be gathered and put in one location it would finish the upscale feel of this impressive home. We all wished we could live there full time.

The house was perfect for family, which included 5 grandchildren. Very clean and only 6 minutes from town.

Everyone enjoyed their stay. The wee cottage was where my husband and I stayed. For future guests, a closet hanging rod and bathroom towel racks/hooks would be very helpful. Also a small toaster and single coffee maker would be nice.Thanks again for such an elegant house in a great mountain setting!

The home and property is a very special and beautiful place. The three homes makes it great for a group or large family across multiple generations. The outdoor area is stunning and has a great trail down the road to run up the Satulah mountain that you see from outside. Kitchen comes well stocked and Maria was friendly to work with.

Phenomenal!!

We rented this home for my mother’s 80th birthday. It was the perfect home to accommodate 4 generations. The outdoor covered patio with Green Egg grills was used daily, as was the outdoor fireplace and TV. We especially enjoyed watching the LSU Tigers win the College World Series on the outdoor patio. The kitchen is beautiful and well-appointed. The furnishings throughout are gorgeous and comfortable. There so many rooms to enjoy on this property. The log cabin and guest house are also very nice, and allows for families to spread out. The billiards room was also a hit with our group, providing for friendly competition among siblings. The home is very convenient to the grocery store (3-4 minute drive) and to Highlands shops. This home truly has it ALL!!

Amazing property. Perfect for 16 long time friends celebrating their 70th birthdays. Plenty of room to spread out and relax. As well as large areas where we could all be together! Would definitely recommend.

The property exceeded our expectations. The two guest houses provided plenty of room for family spreading across several generations to visit. The grandchildren loved running through the woods, catching fireflies, etc...

This was the ideal property for our multigenerational family gathering.
