Luxury Lakefront Getaway

The Jewel of the Isle now has the most special place in my heart. We rented this house to host family and friends for my Dad, Mom and Uncles Celebration of Life. This home provided so many things to my family and friends. We sat outside most of our days at the fire pit. Took walks down on the beach. Had snacks and drinks on the wooden patio they have set up next to the fire pit. We sat in the living room one night all 9 of us and just visited. The dining room provided plenty of seats for meals and games. Every thing we needed was at our finger tips from kitchen items down to a spare tooth brush. Nothing was forgotten for their guests. We needed nothing. Thank you to our hosts Mitch and Kristina!!! Your home was more than we could have hoped for. We truly felt like we were at home and very much welcomed. A must stay for any family or groups of people!! We hope to visit again one day.

The location was amazing - the sunsets were spectacular. The house itself was very nice - open, spacious, lots of windows, and very well stocked. Just about everything we could have wanted was there from spices and cookware in the kitchen, to wood for the fire pit, to kayaks, paddle boards, and even fishing equipment, lawn games, board games, video games, and movies on DVD.

Property location and facilities, games, etc. excellent. HVAC system not working as designed. Remote controls did not change temperature. Cleaning mediocre. Kitchen equipment needed updates, particularly frying pans, pots, and toaster oven. Seemed like owners had not checked on this kind of thing for a while. Access system very good, owners responsive re: HVAC, but system was somehow not installed properly.

We loved our stay at the jewel!! Everything we needed and more. Waking up to the view and listening to the waves was amazing. The lake was warm and we kayaked and watched the sunset every night. We cooked in each day even though we had plans to eat out. The kitchen, grill, and decks were too hard to leave. We will be back!!

This home was exactly what it was portrayed to be. There were many different places to relax throughout the property as you took in the amazing lake views. We enjoyed every moment of our stay.

The house is beautiful, well cared for, well-appointed and takes maximum advantage of the views with the balconies, windows and outdoor space. Simply perfect. Cute neighborhood cat visited often and kept us company throughout our stay. We will be back!

This was our second stay and it was again wonderful. Very clean and comfortable. Great for family dinners, the fire pit is fantastic. Views are amazing from every room. There are plenty of kayaks available and the water was great. You can’t go wrong with staying there when visiting Lake Champlain The Golden Family

Our favorite house to stay at on Lake Champlain!

I literally could write endlessly about how amazingly perfect this lake house is!! MIitch and Kristina have thought of absolutely everything to make this vacation house a HOME! Anything and everything and even more than everything that we could think of was supplied for us. We had so much, memorable family bonding time. It is every bit as beautiful and clean and equipped as all the pictures show. The views are stunning!! There isn’t one negative about their lake house. Each day was filled with adventure, cooking, relaxing, playing games and just being in our own world for a solid week. I don’t believe there could possibly be a better lake House. Thank you to MIitch and Kristina for hosting yet another top notch family vacation!
