We had a wonderful time at Kelsey House! It is so quiet and peaceful, with a gorgeous wrap around porch. We ate all our meals there and throughly enjoyed watching the gorgeous sunsets from there every night. The kitchen is very well equipped and Jack stocks the house with everything we needed. Jack is a gracious and responsive host. We highly recommend this property!

What a serene and peaceful vacation home! The owner used to run this as a B&B, and it definitely has that feel. The home is lovely inside and out with plenty of space around it for privacy while enjoying the lake (unlike many places we’ve stayed on the lake). Great access to good food and fun shopping. Jack was very helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend!

Right now I'm just taking notes. Kelsey House has a wonderful cottage atmosphere and beautiful lake views. Jack, the host, provided a thorough and friendly introduction, and he was very responsive thruout our stay when we had questions. Jack provides the best kitchen inventory that I've ever had at a VRBO, with oils, spices and condiments, appliances and kitchenware.

Our family had a wonderful time together at Kelsey House, especially White Christmas. I strongly recommend Kelsey House to everyone who wants relaxing vacation in Vermont. We were very impressed by cleanness and welcoming atmosphere. Also, communication with Jack and Nicole (Jack's assistance) was excellent. Thank you, Jack and Nicole!

What an absolutely glorious time we had at Kelsey House for a few weeks this past August. Jack was away visiting family when we arrived, and we were met by the charming housekeeper, Nicole, who welcomed us and introduced us to the charms of this beautiful house and property. We never wanted to leave! I wrote to Jack and told him that I hope he knows a good, local excavation company, because he was going to have to hire them to get us out at the end of our stay (I have never said such a thing before!). His response was that he wasn’t too concerned about any trouble, because the next guests coming in were returnees, and that they were highly motivated! (LOL!) Anyway, I think that little exchange says quite a lot for the irresistible charm of the place. It was an outstanding visit, and we truly cannot wait to return! Thank you, so very much, Jack, and thank you also to the lovely Nicole! We will be back!

Our family loved their stay at this beautiful and immaculate property. As others have noted there was a need for nothing. Every detail has been considered. Jack was a great communicator and readily available with any answers to our questions. Thank you so much!

Had an amazing time with the family at the Kelsey House. The house itself was beautiful with the wrap-around porch and the amazing views. The walk through with Jack regarding the history of the house was great and kept in immaculate condition. Received tons of information from Jack throughout the week about the area so we could easily navigate the best spots. Highly recommend Kraemer & Kin for a casual dinner out. The fishing (kayak) was fantastic. Tons of smallmouth & largemouth bass (several personal bests). I would highly recommend if you want to just get away from it all and enjoy what life it meant to be.

Kelsey House was wonderful. You walk in and immediately feel at home and you begin to relax. Jack has provided you with everything you could possibly need for your stay and was such a great host. I slept in the master bedroom and I had the best sleep each night, so comfortable. One of our favorite places to eat was at The Blue Paddle Bistro in South Hero. The food was delicious and everyone was pleasant. The night we went they had music, she was great and entertaining. I highly recommend you at least try this once during your stay. We highly recommend this lovely home for your vacation. Enjoy!
