Stayed Apr 2, 2026The property is nicely done and has great toys and play space for kids. It is, however, on a big hill in the driveway is very tricky, so if you have elderly guests or individuals with disabilities, or even an aversion to driving off cliffs, you should strongly consider this. On our final day at the property, the power went out. This was not the fault of the property owner, but it did take them a long time to get back to us about it. Finally, they do not allow guests to wear shoes in the house. This was OK with us, but if you are a shoe person again, you should be aware.

Stayed Feb 20, 2026Such a beautifully decorated home! Excellent kitchen appliances. Very spacious and very clean. My family of seven loved watching sports on the large screen TV while relaxing on the sectional. Great location, close to UVA and Barracks. Highly recommend.

Stayed Jun 27, 2025We had a great stay with family. Lots of room with great kitchen/appliances. loved the screen porch. The only reason I gave 4 stars for the check-in was that the code vrbo sent was different from the code the owner provided via message. We figured it out. Owner was responsive and helpful.

Stayed May 3, 2025Our stay was perfect for visiting ill elderly mother. We were supposed to have children with (5 and 7) us but they couldn’t join us. Outdoor areas could have been more manicured but the indoor space worked perfectly fine for grown ups. Masha was kind and helpful.

Stayed Apr 18, 2025We had a great time with our family over Easter. Loved the screened in porch. Enough hiding places outside for a holiday egg hunt. Beds were comfortable, kitchen fully stocked and convenient to UVA.

Stayed Sep 13, 2024We had a wonderful time at this rental! We couldn't believe how secluded and private it felt, while also being extremely convenient to Barrack's Road and UVA. We were 2 families of 4, and the space was perfect and very comfortable. The house was immaculately clean and very well-supplied. The appliances were all top of the line. There was even an espresso maker! Our best memory was drinking coffee on Sunday morning on the screened in porch and seeing 3 deer and a fox in the yard! Oh...and it's about a 3 minute walk to Bodo's Bagels :) We will most definitely return to this rental for football weekends and basketball games.
