Only the soft rustle of the wind in the banana trees, the sound of the sea and the singing of the birds can be heard in this very special place.

The five newly built apartments (BJ 2013 / BJ 2016 / BJ 2018) are located in the middle of a huge banana plantation in one of the most exclusive locations in Madeira. Directly at the sea, at an altitude of 30 meters, no through traffic interferes with total relaxation. Enjoy the year-round mild climate at one of the most sun-drenched spots in the south-west of the island. Take a refreshing swim in the deep blue pool, soak up the sun or enjoy the shade of juicy green banana plants in a book.

The elaborately designed apartments have luxurious interiors, the large windows are open to the sea, the border between interior and exterior disappears.

Designed by a German lighting designer and an ambitious Madeiraian architect, the apartments are designed intelligently and comfortably.

Despite all common advantages, Casa Frangipani (object number FW 2647638), Casa Nenufar (object number FW 2647635) and Casa Estrelicia (object number FW 2647636) differ from the other two apartments, Villa Rosa (reference number FW 2647639) and Villa Palmeira (Property number FW 2647640), which we completed in April 2016. We would like to introduce you to the following:

Casa Frangipani and Casa Nenufar:

Due to the offset arrangement, each unit has the desired privacy. The other sides of the apartments are surrounded by gardens. The room layout on the ground floor with living area, terrace and open kitchen area is ideal. A generous free-standing staircase opens up the upper floor with the sleeping and bathing area with mini-spa. Everything is high-quality and modern, but at the same time comfortable and elaborate executed. Ideally, 2 adults find an oasis to feel good and relax, if another space is needed, a full guest bed can be set up.

Casa Estrelicia: exactly the same as Casa Frangipani and Casa Nenufar executed completes the third house on 2 floors, the original planning.
Since the corresponding building permit was issued at the end of 2017, completion will take place in February 2018. Also arranged in the offset, this house has the corresponding privacy.

Casa Estrelicia is the ideal house for guests who want to retire a little.

With 2 outdoor seating areas, one facing the sea, the other facing the pool, and the same high-end amenities as Frangipani and Nenufar, Casa Estrelicia is the ideal choice for guests looking for maximum peace and quiet.

Villa Rosa and Villa Palmeira:

right at the other, west end of the pool area are the other two apartments, which we completed in April 2016. Originally there was an old mansion of the Madeira (Quinta) with thick walls of basalt. The structural condition as well as our claim to architecture and quality did not allow a simple renovation. Instead, we decided to take a symbiosis of modern architecture and preserve the characteristic features of the old house. This would not be easy, but the first reviews of our guests show us that we are on the right track.

This is how two modern, but at the same time comfortably and elaborately executed apartments, Villa Rosa on the ground, Villa Palmeira on the floor. Both have their own separate entrance and in the living area the original walls of archaic basalt are integrated into modern architecture.

Villa Rosa on the ground floor is the only apartment in the complex with 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms, in front of the house a spacious, traditional patio invites you to linger. All in all, Villa Rosa is ideal for 2 couples or a family with 2 children.

Villa Palmeira on the upper floor has a bedroom for 2 people and a spacious terrace with spectacular views of the sea and pool area.

All 5 houses have the thoughtful and generous amenities as well as the spectacular sea view in common, the 5 units are grouped around the well-kept pool. A large free space with space for resting places, a cozy barbecue and the spacious pool invite you to relax and relax. At night, a professional lighting concept enchants the interior and exterior space and gives the whole system a very special magic.

By the time we first saw a school of swimming dolphins from the terrace, we knew what to do. The whole plant has a green energy balance, all hot water we produce with solar thermal energy, our electricity with clean photovoltaic.

In spite of the spectacular and absolutely quiet location you can reach Calheta Villa in only 3 minutes, where beside the two free golden sand beaches (beside Machico the only sandy beaches of the island) a marina, a cultural center, a supermarket and some varied restaurants and bars for the necessary Infrastructure care.

Due to its central location on the south-west coast, you have the ideal starting point for your explorations of the island. In less than half an hour you will reach the high plateau of Paul da Serra, the UNESCO world heritage site with the protected laurel forest, Sao Vicente on the north side of the island, the hiking paradise Rabacal and the new golf course in Ponta do Pargo in the west of the island. In 10 minutes you get to the first of the famous Levada hikes, the airport is about 50 minutes away, the island capital Funchal is the journey time about 35 minutes.
