Luxuriously modernised Heritage cottage

What an excellent place. I would love to have it for myself and not rent out. Great hosts, property and location. Would love to come back.

This house provided the perfect base for a wonderful holiday in Arrowtown. The house is beautifully presented with the historic character carefully retained. The garden is a real delight, and we spent long evenings enjoying BBQs in the quiet backyard. There was a good range of excellent shops and cafes, and a supermarket, all just a short walk away. The hosts were communicative and helpful.We loved the scenery, vineyards and local history of Arrowtown and the surrounding area - and this house was the perfect base to enjoy it from. Highly recommended!

Fully equipped and comfortable house with lots of character. Gorgeous cottage garden and yard. Great for families. Great location with close walking distance to town.

The host sent a message and responded promptly to replies. There was a nice touch of a bottle of wine and block of chocolate on arrival.The property was clean and tidy, in a very peaceful and quiet street, plus only an easy 5 min walk to the main street. Rooms were a decent size. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Bathroom was difficult set out. To have a shave you had to move away from the basin to look in the mirror. Also the shower glass screen was dangerous as it is not supported across to the wall.

We loved our stay at Isabella's cottage. It was 10 out of 10 for cleanliness, comfort and personality. The kitchen was very well stocked and there was also unexpected treats on arrival which we enjoyed under the verandah in the evening :-)Many thanks to our hosts Noel and Caro - we know where to book on our next visit to Arrowtown!

Isabella’s Cottage is the most delightful heritage cottage perfectly located in Arrowtown and has been appointed in such a way that there is nothing that hasn’t been thought of and provided. Extremely comfortable and only a few minutes delightful walk to shops cafes bars and restaurants. Couldn’t hope for a better place to stay and so in keeping with the the whole feel of the town.

Very nice, quiet, historic property with easy walking distance to the sights and activities of Arrowtown. The cottage is much larger than I anticipated with generous rooms and a well appointed kitchen. The bottle of wine and thoughtful welcome gifts were much appreciated. All the appliances and fixtures worked as they should; linens were cozy and nice quality. The only thing that would have made the stay better is a desk or table top with a backed chair to make working on a laptop easier and more comfortable. We found the stools at the kitchen bench uncomfortable. Still, we loved our stay and would book again.

Beautiful old cottage lovingly restored. 5-10min walk to main st of Arrowtown. Thoughtful touches included bottle of wine and chocolates, also milk in fridge, along with the basics for a quick cook up. Thankyou to the hosts.

Perfect cottage in a perfect location within a short walk of the Arrowtown shops. Everything as described, perfect for a family stay.A drainage problem that reared it’s head during our stay was attended to speedily, and there was only minor disruption. These things happen.Beds comfortable, kitchen had all one needs, bathroom perfect - couldn’t have asked for happier accommodation.Many thanks, would certainly recommend Isabella’s to any couple/family visiting the Arrowtown area.

Charming and comfortable cottage in great location, and very well equipped.

We had a wonderful stay at Isabella’s cottage- full of charm, comfort and in a fantastic location just a few minutes walk from Arrowtown’s Main Street. Beautiful views of the mountains from the lovely bedrooms, and lots of homey touches were so appreciated. Thank you very much to our hosts for having us stay in their beautiful property, and for the lovely treats and late check out- much appreciated. Thoroughly recommend and hope to make our trip an annual visit!

We were two sisters travelling together and had the most wonderful time in this gorgeous cottage. The hosts provided everything we could want/need with a thoughtful supply of kitchen goods, tissues in every room and treats!! The garden is gorgeous and property well maintained. It was a pleasant stroll into the centre of Arrowtown. Would definitely stay here again!!!
