In the heart of the Val d'Orcia, a few minutes from the Baths of Bagni San Filippo and Bagno Vignoni. La Colombella is an ancient farmhouse dating back to 1100, the first house in a medieval village suspended in the Unesco park, called the Castle by the local farmers, for its height: 930 asl.
La Colombella is a place to live, authentic, where time has stopped. Starting point to explore the Val d'Orcia and Monte Amiata, also by bike or on foot (CAI route). Visit the places of art such as Radicofani, Pienza, Abbadia San Salvatore, Abbazia Sant'Antimo, Pitigliano, Sovana and Sorano, San Quirico d'Orcia, Montalcino and Montepulciano, do physical exercises in the open air, photography, look at the sky with its stars or learn to cook.

We didn't want to leave. The property was everything we could have dreamed of in staying in Tuscany. The owners were warm and very helpful. The kitchen was fabulous for Tuscan cooking and preparing warm meals for a group of six. The outdoor seating area was unbeatable. We really felt we could have stayed and never visited the surrounding area and would have been content that we experienced Tuscany at it finest. A must stay Home Away property.
