Lovely Montrose Home w/ Yard: Walk to Dtwn & Park!

Nice space, great backyard and front porch, loved the location, bed and pillows are super comfy, lots of TV streaming selections, good communication and helpful notes around the house, loved the magnifying mirror in the bathroom.

Comfy cottage. We loved the old classic charm. The outdoor area was great setting and we enjoyed the outdoor grill.

Cute house. It was in a good location for all the places we wanted to go to. My fault for not reading the description better regarding the swamp cooler. We were there in August and although it did cool the house a little it was still warm. The king size bed was 2 twin beds put together with a hard connector so the bed was uncomfortable to us. The kitchen was well stocked.

Great property with a lovely outdoor area. It was a bit warm during the day when we arrived even with the swamp cooler going full blast, but there are plenty of fans and we spent the days out and about so it wasn't an issue. I wouldn't say it's super walkable to the downtown, but it is only a five minute drive. Otherwise a very comfortable stay.

House is very inviting and charming. We had a great time. The owners were very helpful with the questions we had.

This old house is beautifully renovated and very well styled and supplied with everything you need. The house is clean and the landscaping is beautiful. Great location. We were in town for a wedding in Ridgeway and have family that live locally. If I could transplant this home to my hometown in Erie, CO I would be so thrilled. I loved everything about it!! The swamp cooler does not alleviate the heat throughout the house so fans are essential. Wish we had more time!

My wife and I greatly enjoyed staying at this property in Montrose. It is an older home (which we prefer) but it's in great shape and very comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. We found in general that the people we interacted with in Montrose were extremely friendly and welcoming.

My buddies and I visited for an spring adventure, and this property was an absolute delight. Very comfortable, convenient, and a great table for board games! Had a blast, and would definitely recommend.

Great older house with stylish decor. Plenty of room for 2-4 people. Very comfortable and easy check in and out.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. It’s in a nice, safe neighborhood in walking distance to a park. We had plenty of room for our boys (8 and 10 yrs) and us (mom and dad), the swamp cooler was wonderfully chilling, plus the backyard is huge, the front porch is a great spot for coffee, laundry was an added bonus for our road trip, the furnishings are fun while family friendly and the host is super kind. Overall - it was a perfect base camp for exploring the surrounding area.

This was a very beautiful, older home, maybe from the 20s? 30s? Lots of beautiful wood trim. BE AWARE THIS HOME HAS NO AIR CONDITIONING OF ANY KIND. I wish I had looked closer at the listing, so I can't blame the listing. We went on 6/5/21 and it was hot in Montrose, nearly 90F. When we checked in the house temp inside was 84F. I tried setting the thermostat for A/C, then called Casey and found out the owners had planned to, but had not installed any A/C, not even a window unit. I was told I could open the windows and they left 2 large box fans and one smaller fan. The house is very old and I was only able to open 3 of the windows and the front door. I could barely sleep that night, even with the fan on. This was a VERY expensive rental and for these rates there's really no excuse for not having at least 1, if not 2 window A/C units. Very disappointed, I don't feel I got my money's worth at all.
