Lovely Day | BBQ Grill, Hot Tub, & Ocean Views

We had a lovely stay at lovely day, and would absolutely return, it was the perfect size for our family of four. The only issue at all was that the front door can be tricky to open. This has apparently been an issue before (there were notes posted next to door) and should really be repaired, as we both struggled to enter and leave the house. Other than that, we had a great stay!

Location of the house is close to Ohlson recreation center and Gualala. A downside was that it could have used more privacy blinds. We felt a bit exposed in the downstairs bathroom and upstairs master bedroom. The dishwasher also didn't work but we were credited for that during our stay. Overall, this house suited our small family well and we would rent here again.

Both Lovely Day and Beach Rentals are now at the top of our list. This house is a winner, particularly because it has two equally nice bedrooms - perfect for two couples, since there is no compromise needed. The kitchen is particularly good (even if some of the appliances are a bit complicated to use). Lovely Day has been recently upgraded and is in a great location.

We enjoyed walks to the beach, Mass at St. Mary Star of the Sea, dining at the Thai Restaurant and St. Orres, and just relaxing with the marvelous weather. We did drive to Mendocino and had a great visit there. We were not able to use the barbecue. We did appreciate the grab bars and the many hooks for jackets.

We loved soaking in the hot tub and taking daily walks to the seal rookery, we even saw whales slapping their tails a highlight for us. Well appointed kitchen and the management company was gracious and helpful. We would come again.
