Love North Shore Cherry Cove Beachfront On West Grand Traverse Bay In Leelanau!

Everything was as expected, and the hottub was delightful after a day of wineries. Hope to use the other amenities in the future, we just had a busy schedule.

We had booked this property for a relaxing girl's weekend. We specifically booked this property for the hot tub, sauna, and water view. The amenities were absolutely fabulous. We loved the hot tub. We never got a chance to use the sauna but it looked great. There were several great surprises when we checked in. First of all, we were pleasantly surprised that the water view was better than expected. We knew a street seperated the house and the beach property so I didn't have high expecations of the view, but it was great. I loved seeing the water from living room and kitchen which was really helpful since we went in April. Another great surprise was how wonderfully stocked the property was. It wasn't one of those bare bones properties. For example we appreciated having a make-up mirror! It's the little things that really make a property so great. It's not what you would call updated but the picture are accurate and honestly it doesn't take away from the experience at all! Also, it is a shared property as stated & we did 'run' into the other person who lived there basically everyday we were there but it personally doesn't bother me and they were respectful of us coming and going.I would have loved to come when it was a bit warmer but we were still able to have a fire on the beach and I loved every minute of it. They have a great set-up on the beach which I have sure is absolutely sublime in the warmer months. Lastly, Aaron was very gracious and a good communicator.

This is a beautiful cottage and it is very well kept and clean. Our stay was in early spring during cold weather and the furnace was more than up to the task. Access to the beach is across an unbusy road, and the view of the beach and bay was very nice. Lots of amenities as described in the write-up, and everything was tip-top shape. We had a very relaxing long weekend in spite of less than ideal weather. I'm sure this property is wonderful in the spring, summer, and fall. I highly recommend this property, and will be looking to come back again.

The description doesn't do it justice. If you're looking for the perfect Michigan beach day experience book now! I would love to return in the summer to take advantage of the gazebo on the beautiful beachfront!! This location is truly so cozy and peaceful. We saw a couple of snow storms during our stay and Mr Aaron was sure to clear the snow for us. He was a wonderful host! The creek going through the trees is the perfect scene for the hot tub as well! Gold stars all around!

The host was welcoming and the home and amenities were in good shape. The Home was spacious, comfortable and we especially enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck. We were unable to get the gas fireplace to work and it would have been helpful to have a clear list of items to complete before we checked out of the property.

The place was clean and nice. The owners live in part of the house but we're not there while we were (and the areas are separate). The hot tub was okay and I didnt try the sauna long (could figure it out). The lake view was absolutely amazing and very relaxing. Lots of outdoor amenities on the property. I really enjoyed the stay.

Aaron is a great host. The place is very thoughtfully stocked with everything you could want. The hot tub was great, and we enjoyed fires at sunset on the beach. The beds were very comfortable, as was the furniture.

Everything was amazing at Aaron’s place! We had the best time and we will be back! The sauna and hot tub were great and the beach with the kayaks and paddle boards and fire pit were so fun!

Lovely, spacious clean home stocked with everything you need. Although the lake is across the street from the house, there is a wonderful, large outdoor room to sit and enjoy the lake views, sunsets and sunrise. It was wonderful!

The location was perfect. It was too cold for water activities, but having campfires on the beach was amazing! The host was extremely nice and accommodating, he even left flowers for us after discovering we were there on our mini-honeymoon. Will definitely keep this spot in mind for future trips!

Our third year here and love it more each time. The amenities, the thoughtful stocking of items at the house that make it more comfortable and accommodating, and the continuous upgrades are always so appreciated. It’s our home away from home and you simply can’t beat the beach area at this property!!

Great place, clean and well appointed. Everything you need is in the kitchen. Bathrooms are also well stocked and we appreciated the big box fans for nighttime (even though there is also A/C). The beach area is on the other side of the road but the road is rather quiet and the beach is lovely complete with SUPs, kayaks and a cute gazebo with furniture. It was nice and relaxing for our family.

The place is really nice. The beach is something a person wont forget. Aaron is a good guy. If we had an issue, he was on it. The fire pit was awesome! This place has a lot to offer. Its great for adults and children. The reason for a mid score was I felt that Aaron keeps to close of an eye on things. Good and bad. The hot tub area is fantastic but there was no privacy. Aaron lives above the garage. He keeps his windows open in the hot tub area. We didn't feel very comfortable about that. The house AC was blowing hot air. It was 76 degrees in the house at midnight. Most of our time was spent on the fantastic beach across the street from the location. Very, very low traffic. Another thing was the front door. Only way to get into the place was dropping your shoulder into it and hitting it really hard. I like to be out late on the beach. I would get back to the house and I would have to really hit it, waking my family up. We made it work. When it comes to your fire pit. You should really post your rules on the beach, Aaron. The fire was well maintained but a little big but contained. There's no reason to be watching out your windows waiting for me to go in. Then I go in for food and use the rest room and come back out to see that you poured water on my fire and took the lighter fluid you accommodated us with. It was like we were little children and we had the beach police after dark. The lighter fluid thing really hurt your score.

The place is NOT as pictured. There are the owners living above in the attached garage- no privacy shade (as owner states). The house is across the street from the lake and does not back up to the lake. The outdoor is dirty and unwelcome. The largest issue the awful smell inside. We literally walked in and left and booked another place.

This little gem is such a peaceful & friendly neighborhood. The view of the cove is simply stellar! And centrally located to make it to all the spots you want in minutes! Aaron is a wonderful host - if he is on the property he is very respectful of your privacy & promptly responsive to any questions or needs you may have.We walked the neighborhood - lounged on the beach - soaked in the hot tub - rejuvenated in the steam barrel - had amazing breakfast @ 9 Beans every day - drove M22 loop & hit all the beautiful vineyards - had amazing food - simply had a wonderful time

Our stay was perfect! Clean and plenty of room! We love Suttons Bay and this was very convenient in getting to and from all of our favorite spots! The hot tub was a great bonus for our evenings!!! Highly recommend!

We wanted a quiet relaxing place to land in between wineries and shopping. It was absolutely perfect and the host’s communication was great! We only wish the weather would’ve been nicer for us to take advantage of the beautiful private beach! We would most definitely stay again

Love North Shore Cherry Cove was a perfect place for our getaway. Location is great for exploring the Leelanau peninsula. Traverse city is only 15 minutes south. Aaron is a gracious host. Your privacy is his priority. The home is spacious, clean, and filled with all the little touches that welcome you in. You truly feel right at home. The beach is very nice. We had a great fire and enjoyed the new gazebo. Hot tub was wonderful after our daily outings. We did not use the sauna but plan to during our next stay. Thank you Aaron!

We loved our stay here. The house was extremely clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The grill on the beach as fun and the views were amazing. We all loved the hot tub and sauna.

Everything from checking in to checking out was perfect. The house had everything we needed. It was in a great location and felt like we were tucked out of the way, in the woods, with a beautiful view of the lake! We also weren’t that far from shops and great restaurants. We had a nice long relaxing weekend and enjoyed the peaceful location! Thank you for letting us stay!

The location was perfect with a beautiful view of the bay from the living room and kitchen. We enjoyed relaxing and playing games in front of the fireplace and were even more excited to soak in the hot tub on the cold winter nights. We were able to make our own dinners and breakfasts easily in the kitchen because it was stocked with every item we needed. We would definitely come back again!

The host was very helpful and responsive. The place is quiet and beautiful. Bed mattresses are in need of an update same as pillows. In general we had a great time. We even made a snowman

The snow was piled up and we were nice and cozy inside our getaway. The hot tub was wonderful as we gazed up at the stars and watched the falling snow drape the trees in the forest behind the home. The view out the front was of the partially frozen Lake Michigan. The perfect getaway!!

Me and the husband weekend getaway for my 50th birthday. Easy checkin, friendly host, exceptionally clean. We had a great, relaxing time. Good location for many local attractions. Beds were comfortable. We did not use the hot tub or sauna… but thoroughly enjoyed the cozy fireplace. Would definitely stay here again if we get back to this area of Michigan. Thanks Aaron!!

Relax and enjoy the beautiful beach, outdoor seating, and firepit. On chilly night, warm up by the beautiful stone fireplace in the large living room or the private hot tub outside. The excellent host, Aaron, can answer all your questions and make recommendations about the area. We had a lovely stay!!!

House was spacious and clean, great for families. The beach and access to the water was great - had a campfire multiple nights under star filled skies and the Milky Way. Suttons Bay has lots of restaurant options and the house is a short drive from lots of attractions and wineries.
