Stayed Apr 4, 2025Great unexpected & laid back experience. From the exciting night drive to the site and then waking up to your own secluded and peaceful sliver of south Kona. The fruit/pig farm combination gives just enough activity to your serene little home - not to mention the frisbee challenge!! Excellent getaway from the city and typical Hawaii beach environment. Our Hosts made the stay comfortable and homey. Highly recommended and would definitely Hana Hou!!

Stayed Oct 9, 2025Had a great stay at Lychee Hale with a wonderful host, Emma. Loved seeing the pigs, chickens, geckos, and birds. Enjoyed playing disc golf, eating fruit from the various fruit trees on the property, and watching the sun set over the Pacific from the deck each evening.

Stayed Sep 28, 2025We really enjoyed our stay at Lychee Hale. A great location, and on a farm! Peaceful and so much beauty! Our favorite place at the cottage is the balcony - a lovely view, including of the ocean. We watched a couple of spectacular sunsets during our stay.Shucheng (Emma) and Bryan were helpful and friendly hosts. Our hope is to return to Lychee Hale in the future!

Stayed Jan 14, 2025Me and my queen loved our stay here. We actually wanted to cancel our other reservations and just extend our stay it was so incredible. The sounds of nature sang us to sleep and woke us up peacefully in the morning. The enclosed trees around us and beautiful homey balcony was simply bliss. Thank you for sharing your heavenly farm with us. You were an amazing host and the piglets were the cutest touch! We loved it all!!!

Stayed May 25, 2024I stayed here with my husband, my sister and brother in law. It was great! The porch is great for hanging out with drinks and food. We enjoyed the beautiful view and watching the animals. The property is on smaller side so if you’re not close with your group, 4 people might be too tight.

Stayed Mar 12, 2024We spent a week on the farm. Enjoyed the pigs and the roosters. Very easy access to south Kona activities. Really enjoyed the house and the host. Would stay here again. Frogs will sing for you at night, melodically but LOUDLY, Emma thoughtfully provides earplugs. So much nicer than staying in Kailua Kona, which is only 20 min away. Quite relaxing, and great ocean view for sunsets, and then you can build a fire in the firepit.

Stayed Feb 29, 2024Located in the hills high above Kealakekua Bay, with views of the ocean from the deck. Very well-appointed unit with everything you might need in the kitchen, and more. Made good use of the snorkeling equipment. The frisbee golf course was a lot of fun (and good exercise.) The wild pigs were cute and entertaining. The hosts were extremely accommodating.

Stayed Nov 23, 2023We loved our stay here at Lychee Hale. We would regularly have dinner watching the exceptional sunset from the deck. The location is perfect. At around 1200 ft (my estimate) elevation we had perfect cooling breezes. On the grounds are many fruit and coffee trees. Also, don't miss watching the stars with a nice fire in the fire pit.
