My wife and I just stayed here for six nights and it could not have been nicer. Dominique, the owner, is such a nice person. She was super helpful and we enjoyed a number of pleasant conversations with her and her husband. The property is very conveniently located for visiting the wonderful Chateaux in the area. Dominique only rents out one space at her property. It is an outbuilding off of a relatively quiet street. It has tons of charm, a comfortable bed, and a serviceable bathroom and kitchenette. We were able to use one of her to assigned parking spaces at no additional cost. Most evenings we had dinners in Ambroise. Dominique also recommended us to La Boulaye out in the countryside. It was just 15 minutes away and was our best meal of the week. This is a lovely and convenient place to stay if, like us, you prefer more rustic charm than sanitized creature comforts. Hope you enjoy your stay!

If you are a couple looking for a lovely place to stay, look no further. Dominique has created a wonderful space set in the quaint garden of her and her husbands listed home. The mini gite is welcoming and comfortable and you can either choose to have Dominque prepare your breakfast, with the jams & yogurt she makes served with fresh breads & croissants, cheese & freshly prepared fruit. We got on so well, the four of us ate together the last evening and had a good laugh listening to a local music group performing in the village square. Thank you For a wonderful stay. We were sad to leave and hope to return. Jax & Keith

We enjoyed our stay in this charming apartment. It was in a separate building from the main house - both historic buildings. There is private, off-the-street parking. The hostess was friendly and easy to communicate with and even offered to make a dinner reservation for us. The location was close to the Amboise and the chateaus we wished to visit.

We enjoyed our recent stay at La Belvedere. A short walk from town and a close drive to the chateau in Chenonceau and Amboise. Our room was perfectly appointed with a comfortable bed and comfortable living space. We traveled with another couple who expressed the same. Our room had a private bathroom attached. Our host Dominique was very accommodating! Upon our arrival, she walked me into town to show me where we could find a glass of wine and charcuterie, as well as a shop for bike rental. We really appreciated the time she took to do that and the time to help us return a car rental and book a train that would work with our schedule. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning with coffee and homemade yogurt. Such a special stay! Pack lightly. The curved stair case could be challenging to those (like us) with heavy luggage. Dominique’s recommendations for dinner at Au tableau in Blere and Chez Bruno in Amboise was spot on!

This is a charming property with amazing outdoor space, comfortable rooms, private bathrooms, and an amazing historic authenticity. Breakfast is terrific, and the proprietor is quite knowledgeable about the region. If you prefer modern conveniences like air conditioning and TV, this is maybe not for you, but if you want to really connect with the old world charms of the Loire, this property is outstanding.

The B&B is situated in a quaint town just a few minutes drive from Amboise, an ideal location for exploring the awesome chateaus and landscape of the Loire Valley. The B&B is a beautiful historic manor and the gardens and courtyard are wonderful. Dominique and Jean-Richard are teriffic hosts and offered great suggestions, brocheurs, etc. on attractions, restaurants and travel tips. Our suite was spacious and very clean, and the breakfasts were delicious. We would highly recommend B&B Belvedere as a base retreat for enjoying the Loire.

We wanted to stay in the heart of chateau country, and were happy to discover Blere, a charming village near enough to touristy Amboise, but nicely away from the crowds. Le Belvedere is an elegant Belle Époque-style home and garden hidden behind high stone walls and could well be the setting for a romantic movie. But while the home is country-formal, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Dominique, our hostess, speaks perfect English and has an encyclopedic knowledge of the area, which she earnestly wants you to enjoy. Plus, she serves a marvelous continental breakfast with her own homemade yogurt and jams. I would recommend it to friends and would gladly stay again.
