Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the moment we arrived our blood pressure dropped, the stress melted away, and we were ready to relax. The view is amazing, the lake is, well, the lake! The whole house felt like a really homey-home. So inviting, so comfortable, so perfect! We even stayed out at the waters edge to star gaze! A 15 out of 10!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a glorious week it was for my family and I to have at your beautiful, charming, outdoorsy property. A perfect location that was close to all the things we wanted to do either by land or lake 😉. We brought our boat (anchored away from the dock as requested without issue) and kayaks so there was plenty for all. The beds were comfy, linens plentiful, bathrooms beautiful, well equipped kitchen, plenty of parking, and lots of room. The best part was the view and the peace and quiet. We absolutely recommend this property and will be back!!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Awesome spot, great views, felt private. We were shocked with the condition of yard and the cleanliness at first but Visit Up North took care of that as soon as we mentioned it! The woods were a very cool find as well (the many art structures).Close to Suttons Bay and the casino!

We have stayed at this house several times now with family friends for the weekend. It’s perfect! The house is big and interesting, the grounds are beautiful, the location is close to attractions, and the water is clear and inviting. Despite being early May, some of the kids always jump in for a quick refresh. The home owners have kept some of the family history for guests including photo-books and other keepsakes. There’s even a caboose on property and a walking path with nature art. This year we caught the northern lights while out at the bonfire. This place is not to be missed. Truly a gem!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Caboose Royale over NYE 2023. We were actually return guests, but this most recent visit was greatly disappointing. The house was not clean. There was a think coat of dust on all surfaces, many clearly visible cobwebs and pots/pans were dirty. There was also open bags of garbage left in the driveway. The worst part was that the the rental staff was not forthcoming about what was working and what was NOT working in the house. The fireplace in the house is beautiful, but we didn't it was out of service until the morning after we arrived. We had already bought wood and in nothing in the communications ahead of our check in told us about the fireplace not work. I've called the rental office to share my experiences before I posted this and was told I would get a response...I've heard nothing. Will never return and never recommend.

Five couples stayed at Caboose Royale while doing the Taste of the Season Wine tour. It was clean, comfortable, and centrally located. Felt like home and accommodated all of us. We cooked in and the table sat all ten of us. Had a campfire right on the bay shore. We had a great time, but then we never put anyone else in charge of our fun. :-)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home was liking walking into your own home! Lots of dishes to use and essential items in the cabinets. Everything was in working condition, the beds were very comfortable and being on the lake with the kids and dogs was the best! Short drive from town, we made good use of the outside grill, the dock was perfect for fishing and swimming. A great experience and vacation. The bathrooms were updated and very clean. We did have a lot of gnats but welcome to up north Michigan, they were a nuisance but harmless.
