Stayed Dec 26, 2025The Zen room was that I was hoping for. It was clean, comfortable bed and a great view!y dogs loved it too. They met goats, pigs and chickens. The host explain how to check in and out. I would recommend .

Stayed Jul 18, 2025The “zen” room was very clean and comfortable. Love the fireplace and large shower. Our only complaint was the loud air conditioner. But overall, a perfect night away!

Stayed Nov 30, 2024This place was so lovely and peaceful. It really is tucked away and has a cute little balcony. Lots of hiking nearby in Shenandoah. Would definitely stay here again. My only negative is the door to this room has a huge gap at the bottom and nothing around the outside giving any sort of sound buffer. So you can hear everything. Other than that, it was wonderful.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Wish I lived closer so I could return frequently. My husband and I enjoyed the quiet solitude of the room and the staff were all so kind and helpful! It’s a gorgeous area too. The room smelled wonderfully clean when we checked in and I especially appreciated that the floors were super clean—thanks, Becky!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The room was clean and inviting. One suggestion is that the bed be raised. Otherwise we loved our stay. We had so much fun checking out the themes of the other roons. Please tell Jumper we loved his company.

Stayed May 24, 2024I stayed for just one night with my dog. We were in Shenandoah for a short hiking trip. The room was perfect and the view was incredible. We ate outside at the restaurant there and they even made a patty for my hiking buddy.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We decided to stay at the lodge after doing a tour as a potential wedding venue and loved everything about the lodge! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and thoughtfully curated for the Zen theme. The view from the room (and all the rooms since they all face the same direction) was breathtaking. Highly recommend for a special occasion or just to get away for the night. FYI - the restaurant does not serve liquor but there is a mini fridge in each room, so bring your own if desired.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My wife and I had a great stay. The room was clean and cozy. We had dinner that night and breakfast the next morning, which was very good! Definitely recommend staying here.
