As stated
We had guest from out of town for the Christmas holiday and the home was perfect for them to wind down and rest after busy family days.
Beautiful weather
Beautiful home close to everything. Quiet and comfy! Enjoyed playing music on the nice big porch in the evenings.
Walking to main street was easy. House has plenty of room great relaxing porch
I would have liked it better if there was a TV in the sitting area so we could have watched TV as a group. There needed to be a curtian on the side door - especially since the pull out couch for 2 people to sleep was in that room. All in all it was enjoyable and close to everything we wanted to do.
Large home with plenty of room. Walking distance to tourist attractions.
We enjoyed our accommodations and they were close to everything we wanted to do. Everything was in walking distance
Excellent location and very quite . Bed comfortable . We spent most of time on the wrap around porch . The furniture on porch clean and comfortable. The kitchen has been updated as well as bathroom . The dining room has large oak table that seats 6 or more people . Living room and bedrooms large . Both rooms could be updated with color and more light. Furniture in living room could be more comfortable . TV in both bedrooms but not one in living room . Having given information about or stay .I would stay again .
This was the perfect location for our stay. We were able to walk to downtown and enjoy all the shops and restaurants. The host was so nice and helpful with all our request and needs. I would definitely stay here again and recommend if you are looking to be close to downtown with a quiet neighborhood.
Nice front porch with ceilings fans, good shade trees, only drawbacks to property, no local tv, basic cable, bed in middle bedroom needs box under mattress replace, makes all kind of noise when turn over, you can hear the guess above you walking around
When we walked in, our immediate reaction was Aunt Bee's living room! It was clean and well kept. It is an older house, converted into a duplex, but very well kept, and appointed with era correct furniture. Was really cool sitting on the front porch in the evening with a cold drink, listening to the concert happening at the pavilion. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean. A bonus that the linens and towels were included. Be nice and follow the instructions to put the dirty linens and towels in that washer as instructed. All walking distance to downtown Mayberry. And a great price! Well worth it.
We were a group of ladies who were all visiting Mt. Airy for the first time. We rented both units so had the whole house which was more than enough room for us. All our communications with Fieldyn were answered quickly and the house had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the oversized wrap around front porch with plenty of eating. The short walk to downtown “Mayberry” was nice and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves strolling through the shops and dining in the restaurants. A special bonus was the tractor parade down Main Street. We definitely will be back!
Exactlyas advertised
The house was very comfortable and could not ask for better location for our visit.
My only suggestion is that the front bedroom's bed made a lot of noise you could here every time my friend moved all the way into the living room. The sofa bed you could feel every spring. Suggest getting an air mattress with pump so ypu open up sofa bed pump ot up and then pump it down to use sofa. Could use curtains or blinds on doors for person sleeping on sofa bed privacy. Otherwise very nice stay.
Very quiet neighborhood and very close to downtown. We loved the convenience of being 5 min from grocery stores and restaurants. I loved the wood floors and high ceilings. The wrap around porch is great especially the one step entrance on the side. Having 3 entrances on the lower level made it easy to unload luggage. Keyed deadbolts gave security to the glass doors which let in lots of light. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Lots of towels and linens if you have a bigger group. We would definitely stay here again.
Front Porch was awesome!! Very clean and user friendly. Was a great GIRLS GET AWAY!! ❤️
Nice place
It’s a great little place right outside of town. You can walk to most things.
House was just as described. Check in couldnt have been any easier and communication with owner was great. A very short walk to main st.
Love the house. Felt like you were back at grandmas house. Close to town. We will be back for sure
We enjoyed the house it was wonderful! Made the whole trip so much fun it had a old and vintage style that was amazing and just the vibe we needed! It was a Very relaxing place! We loved the old record player it was a favorite.. And No TV In living was very nice for some quiet family time .We will definitely visit again!!!
This was a very comfortable place to stay while visiting friends in the Mount Airy area. The house was a nice combination of vintage furnishings with modern amenities. The host was very responsive when we had a question. We would stay there again
Property was clean and well equipped. Some work going on at other areas of the property but it posed no problems. House is very close to the downtown and tourist area. I would highly recommend it.
My family and I visited the area to see the Andy Griffith museum and all of the history involved with his life and the show. This rental was in a great location, easy walking distance to the museum and shops/ restaurants. Super easy check in and check out. The coffee and baked goods left for us was much appreciated as well. A very welcome escape from the busy life. We hope to visit again.
