Light-filled, historic stunner in the heart of GR.

The host was attentive, but the place was dirty, the stove didn’t work. We lost power in the kitchen. The steps were not shoveled upon arrival. The refrigerator had me clean and quite some time we found a blueberry under the chair in the living room. Just overall disappointing.

The house was quite comfortable, not fussy or fancy. Just right for us, and a nice place to hang out in between the wedding events.The location was great as well, close to many activities and places on our must see lists.

Very nice and character-filled home. Comfy beds and well-appointed. Location is nice but the street is quite busy and loud at times so a noise maker is recommended. The host was hospitable but not the most responsive.

Everything was great, we enjoyed staying in this lovely home for a girls shopping weekend.

Nice location, close to downtown and a lot of restaurants and activities. The house was bigger than expected and it was fun to see the character & antique touches of the home.

The house is in a great location. Walkable to many great restaurants, ice cream, bars and the farmers market. The house was roomy and the beds were comfortable. I'd stay here again.

The house was absolutely beautiful, very clean, and it was comfortable. Our only vaguely negative is maybe label the switches, but we also had fun playing the which light does this go to game so it really wasn't an issue. The hosts were extremely prompt with replies and were very helpful. I would definitely stay for a longer period if the opportunity arose.

This is an adorably quaint house. Those who appreciate history and connection to a community will really enjoy their stay. Sam and May are very kind and supportive hosts as well. There are vintage pieces throughout the house and are lovely to see. The hardwood floors are gorgeous but do note there is some creaking if you have light sleepers. Also, I would recommend young children to walk with shoes or barefoot as socks can be slippery on the wood. If you have a larger vehicle, I would plan on parking in the street. Our 2022 jeep compass fit in the garage but only could open one side of doors with some limited space.

It was grand! Neat, clean, and extremely charming! Very centrally located! Did some secondhand shopping downtown GR, and was delighted to find ‘free parking’ on Saturdays.Had a delicious dining experience at Butchers Union. The wknd was 5 star. ps. Our host Stella was wonderful as well!

We really love the character of this house. The rooms were bright but cozy. We had a king size bed in our room and slept great! Close to Can Andel Arena where we saw Linkin Park and Grandson! Great night!

The house was neat, spacious and very charming. Easy walk to East Town, and close to downtown Grand Rapids so we could easily celebrate our son’s college graduation.

This house is absolutely GORGEOUS! Everything was perfect! The amenities were all available and worked, the location cannot be beat and is super close to local shopping and eats, everything was amazing.

Super interesting property

We stayed the night to record a Drew Hale’s Christmas album at Dogtown studio. The house was centrally located to everything we needed to do. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The home was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable and we would definitely stay here again.

Great property, close to great amenities, just as described. Clean, cute, and served the purpose for our needs. We just needed a place to rest our heads overnight for an event at Van Andel Arena and were on our way the next morning. The hosts were great and helped us find a local pizza delivery and responded to communication right away! I highly recommend this property and we were grateful for the peaceful stay.

This home fit our needs perfectly during our weeklong stay in GR. Its location is wonderful—loads of shops, restaurants, and beautiful neighborhoods for walking. The house is sweetly decorated and had everything we needed in the kitchen. We enjoyed cooking and baking with the vintage stove! We enjoyed evenings on the porch and mornings in the unique front sunroom. Lovely!
