A stylish seaside holiday retreat, Callie's Cottage North Berwick is a two bedroom ground floor holiday cottage which is perfect for little ones or guests who require everything to hand and on one level. The cottage is conveniently located for the local railway station with regular trains to Edinburgh and is a short walk 5 min walk to North Berwick's High Street. Our local independent shops, cafes and restaurants, beach, harbour, Scottish Seabird Centre and the Golf Clubs are all within walking distance. Callie's Cottage was built to a high specification in 2015 and comprises of:

Open plan sitting room/ kitchen
The sitting room and kitchen are light and airy and furnished with a seaside theme. There is a sofa, as well as a wood burning stove and dining table seating up to 6 guests. There is also a TV and plenty of board games for your entertainment. The kitchen section has an electric oven and hob, microwave slimline dishwasher, washing machine with drier and is fully equipped with everything you will need for your self catering holiday.

Perfect for golf enthusiasts and families. Should you wish to bring a dog, you are welcome to bring up to two well behaved dogs - a charge of £30.00 per dog will apply.

Central heating, electricity, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rental. This is one of our child friendly properties, with a travel cot and a high chair available for guests to use. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS PROPERTY IS VERY STRICTLY NON SMOKING AND A FINE OF £200.00 COULD BE IMPOSED SHOULD EVIDENCE OR SMELL OF SMOKE BE FOUND. Complimentary WiFi available throughout the property.

To make a booking you can book directly through this site. All you need to do is select your dates and the number of guests. The price will be calculated for you . You are required to pay a 20% deposit payment with a minimum payment of £150.00 or higher which secures the property, this payment is non refundable in the event of a cancellation. Then, 42 days prior to your arrival date the balance will be payable with a separate refundable damage deposit of £150.00 due 7 days before your arrival date. Your refundable damage deposit will be held until you depart and then automatically refunded back onto your card within the week after you depart

The Nether Abbey Hotel is a short 5 minute walk to Dirleton Avenue and if you walk into the town centre you will find Zitto's, Cusina Amore, The Roketeer Seafood Restaurant,The Herringbone, The Ship Inn, The Golfers Rest, The County & The Auld Hoose are on/around the High Street & within a 7-minute walk.


Getting there

From the train station Old Abbey Road is easily reached , turn right out of the station and then first right (after the fire station)and you will be on Old Abbey Road, Continue up the road to number 55 and Callie's Cottage is located behind Thistlegate House.

From Dirleton Avenue , turn onto Ware Road, opposite the Nether Abbey Hotel and continue up and over the small railway bridge and turn left onto Old Abbey Road.

    The cottage was perfect place to stay during my golf trip to N Berwick. The owner went above and beyond with some assistance needed. It was only me but would’ve been comfortable with more, also. Definitely would book again.

    Hi we loved staying at Callies cottage, it is in a good location and very homely. The owners were very helpful. The log burner made it really cosy and the welcome pack was ideal, thank you.

    This cottage was very cosy and had everything that you might need for a relaxing holiday. The owners live a few yards away and were so friendly and helpful. You will need some confidence to reverse your car down to the area next to the accommodation and it was so peaceful and secluded during our stay. Highly recommend.

    Perfect for what we wanted. Clean and comfortable and a short walk to the beach, town, railway station and golf course. Property manager was really nice and very helpful. Highly recommended.
