Stayed Jul 28, 2018We had a week here and spent it swimming, reading, eating & drinking.Everyone we met was friendly. You have to walk uphill to the shops and restaurants which are about 10 mins away (we treated it as our daily exercise) but it is down hill on the way back. Getting the car in and out was exciting as the roads are VERY narrow but we managed 2 day trips out ( rafting and a national park). Lovely scenery to walk around and look at and you are right at the edge of the sea we had a great week.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed at this wonderful property with our family. The house is exactly as described in text and photos. The thing we liked the most is the feeling of spending the days practically on the beach, but still secluded and hidden under the shade of pines and in the privacy of large garden. The entire property is perfect for families with small children, our children were spending the most of the days on the beach while we could watch them from the garden. The shops, bakery and pubs are on the easy walking distance to the centre of village Okrug where there are some nice restaurants also. The owner Srdana is a perfect host, gave us exact instructions on everything we needed and helped in arranging transportation as well. We would love to come back again and share this experience with our friends!

Stayed May 26, 2018The house and it's location near a beautiful beach were lovely, and the host was sweet. We were very disappointed to find major construction going on next door (cement mixer, drills, dust) and our host did not warn us before arrival. The noise and lack of privacy impacted our enjoyment of the property, so be sure to ask about construction before you book this home. The walk to stores and restaurants is up a steep hill on a very narrow street with traffic and no sidewalk or shoulder, and we didn't feel safe. We expected to be able to walk to meals and shopping and didn't have a car so we felt stranded.

Stayed May 13, 2018Beautiful property. Srdana made it all easy. Two great balconies, beautiful views, room to spread out. Sedans also hooked us up with a great car service that we used for the entire trip. Toronto a wonderful small town and we could be the therE in ten minutes (but not on Saturday morning). You could walk it of young and fit, but a bit too much for us, hence the car service.had a great time, and would highly recommend.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969What we loved the most was the fact that the beach and the sea is practically beyond the stone wall at the end of the garden. We were spending the entire days in bathing suits, relaxing in the hammocks under the pine trees and enjoying the various parts of the garden. The house is just as described, perfectly clean and comfortable. Srdana couldn't have been more welcoming as a host, she waited our arrival and then she left us to enjoy the house just for ourselves. Overall, perfect vacation!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969the property was clean and well maintained and absolutely met our expectations also in light of the description and photos. The ownerin provided excellent customer service, we really felt very comfortable. The beach nearby is a beautiful stone beach, we liked it very much, also shops and good restaurants could be found in walking distance. We also enjoyed that the location was individual and quiet. We would recommend the property also to friends.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I have just returned from Villa Adriatic and can't stop daydreaming about lazy days looking out to sea from the sundrenched terrace, afternoons drifting in and out of sleep in the perfectly positioned shade of the hammock, or evenings watching the sunset across the boat strewn horizon... The villa itself met all our needs, it was clean, comfortable perfectly tucked away down a winding road, but it is the outside space that made it quite so special for me. If you are looking for a place to relax and escape the world then this really is the perfect place. I visited for a week in July - following an earlier excursion up the coast for a festival - with 6 friends, all in our early 30s. I think initially Srdana (the lovely owner) was concerned that we might get bored in this quiet coastal spot but I don't think she could have been more wrong. We filled our days lazily, moving between garden and the crystal blue sea, and back again. Evenings were spent on the terrace, under the twisting grape filled , enjoying the local wine and cooking on the villa's outside bbq/oven. We only left the villa a handful of times for trips by boat to the narrow streets and laid-back squares of near-by Trogir (well worth a visit) and one blisteringly hot day in Split (a beautiful city but perhaps best saved for cooler climes). In short I could have easily stayed here for days on end and am already looking back with nostalgia on the week. If I had to give any tips/advice for future guests then... 1) Forget spending time in Okrug Gornji – and don't let the drive-in through this touristy line of coast disappoint you - once you get to the villa you barely need to leave. 2) You don't need a car. The walk up the hill to the supermarket is a bit of a hike - and I wouldn't recommend it with small children - but with a bit of meal coordination you can limit your trips. 3) Do buy the local wine. 5 litre cartoons of lovely light red wine (perfect for the heat), for £6 you can't really go wrong. 4) Buy a lilo. If you don't you'll spend the week coveting your friends - and their sea salt-induced tan. 5) Look out for Boris the Slovenian pilot, sporting a fetching a pair of red speedos and the owner of a small yellow speed boat. My friend propositioned him for a ride on his inflatable doughnut and swiftly made a new friend who made it his personal mission to make this the fastest doughnut ride ever.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We stayed at the Zelic house with family - eight people in total. We found the house and the surrounding area truly relaxing and beautiful, close to the sea, Trogir, local restaurants, markets and other sights. Although we had originally intended on using the house as our base and traveling to see sights from here, we found that once we saw the house and the proximity to the sea we did not move far from here. We loved going into Ogrug to shop daily and enjoyed the bakery, restaurants/pubs easily within walking distance. The promenade directly in front of the house provided us with opportunity to walk along the beautiful seashore nightly. The owner made us feel right at home and provided us with excellent instructions and information to make our stay fabulous! We would love to come again!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Everything Srdana has put in the description is correct, but does not do it justice! The house and the location are fantastic. The beach is right at the bottom of the garden and so tempting that we went swimming at 11:30 at night. The house itself is kept to a high standard and is very clean. Trogir is a great place to visit and easy to get to using the water taxi. Facilities in the nearby town are very good and are easily accessed a short walk away.. We had to see a doctor and she came out to the house within a couple of hours and was most helpful. 3 teenage children loved it too! Srdana is a great host, and is very helpful.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Dear Srdana, we have enjoyed very much jour nice house and the beautiful warm sea. The island Ciovo and the City of Trogir both are very picturesque. On hot days the trees in the garden spend a good shade. Highly recommended sommer site! Astrid Rott+family
