Le LUMINARIe SASSI ancient dwelling in the heart of the Sassi

Le Luminarie Sassi is a historic home located in the heart of the Sassi di Matera, which allows you to experience the authentic experience of the ancient city, where the striking panorama of the murgic plateau is mixed with ancient rock and Romanesque architecture.
Located in the most picturesque part of the ancient Sassi district, it can accommodate up to 2 people, has the characteristic of being partly underground (carved into the rock) and overlooking a panoramic square (old neighborhood) served by a cistern for collecting water .
To the suggestion and sense of serenity that characterizes the outdoor spaces, equipped and accessible, is added the particularity of the interior, characterized by the presence of luminarie light architecture typical of southern Italy, expression of local master craftsmen, who after having cheered parties and festivals , carefully restored, illuminate and furnish our home.
The interior spaces are spacious and comfortable, cared for in the details, where the processing of the stones and artisanal ceramics gives a unique atmosphere.
The furnishings are contemporary and design, which harmonize well with the rock architectures including the beautiful fireplace.
The kitchen is fully equipped and allows you to enjoy your stay in the magical Città dei Sassi. Comfortable, complete with everything, including Nespresso and toaster.
The sleeping area has a queen size bed, with a net and an orthopedic mattress, a sofa is available, while the wardrobe is made from a recess in the wall, and the fireplace completes the magical and relaxing atmosphere.
The completely hypogeum bathroom has a very large crystal shower, it is comfortable and suggestive.
Guests will find spacious and atmospheric environments where the philosophy and the reinterpretation of living with simplicity brings back to the ancient traditions of our land.
