Cozy and comfortable apartment in Matera

Of all the places we stayed in Italy, this was the best in every regard. It was clean, well appointed, quiet, spacious, had nice bathrooms, and was very comfortable. Our host Pietro was very kind and helpful.

Very clean and excellent location. We were travelling by car, so the on site parking was a godsend. Pietro was great with the communications and very quick to resolve any problems, as well as providing helpful suggestions.

Pietro was extremely helpful, kind and informative. The house was immaculately clean and well appointed. All the essentials had been thought of, and lots more. The location within the town is ideal for shops, bakeries, restaurants and setting off on a tour. Very secure too. I would recommended without hesitation. Grazie Pietro

We had the best time in Matera. The location of the VRBO was perfect . In walking distance to every where. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone . The owner was a great communicator and answered all our questions. Matera is an amamazong city to see .

Great host . Had his stuff very organized even to the extent he had maps of everything. He explained everything with lots of patience and is of very good nature. I will have to come back to the city again because I loved it and I will stay in the same place again because everything from new town, restaurants , grocery stores parks Sassi to old historic town is walking distance. The house also have very safe and secure inside parking for car. The house is on a dead end street so no traffic at all. Owner left so many food items for us. Yogurt, biscuits patties , muffin etc Very generous of him . Great place to stay for families with kids

Our host Pietro was very welcoming and provided us with lots of information. The accommodation was clean and provided lots of room for 5 ladies (thankful for 2 bathrooms). Location was perfect, within walking distance of the old town of Matera. Lots of privacy and parking available. If we ever get back to the enchanting city of Matera would definitely stay here again.

The property was wonderful in every way; spotless, attractive, comfortable, private yet very close to the Sassi of Matera we had come to visit. The host thought of everything, from breakfast and snack items, to all the comforts one could wish for in a “home away from home”. It was perfect! Grazie mille!

This is a wonderful property. It’s very clean, has parking and is very well organized and thought out for travelers. The pictures do not do it justice. Pietro was very helpful despite us not sharing a common language. Don’t hesitate to rent this property!
