We are located in Gouldsboro Maine. A small coastal town located in Downeast Maine. We are located on a quiet side road off of US route 1. You can fall asleep listening to the frogs. Awake to the birds singing. The moon rises in front of the house and the stars are amazing. For the outdoor enthusiast there are lots of local biking and hiking trails as well as salt and freshwater beaches to explore. We are about 15 miles from Winter Harbor where you can find the Schoodic Point section of Acadia National Park, small shops and eateries and a ferry that will take you to Bar Harbor where you can explore other local shops and the rest of Acadia National Park. If riding on a boat is not for you it is about a 1 hour car ride to Bar Harbor. Both Prospect Harbor light house and Petit Manan lighthouse are a short drive to view.

If you're looking for a different kind of adventure we are about an hour and 20 minutes from Lubec which is the eastern most point in the United States or an hour and 45 minutes from the Canadian border.

Our home is a clean and spacious 5 bedroom 2 bathroom home. We have room for 8 so you can bring the whole family or a group of friends. This is the best rental home in which we have stayed. It is large and comfortable. It feels more like you are staying at a friend's house than a rental. The main floor is spacious. There is a large family room with 6 automatic leather recliners and a huge TV. There is another room with a large comfortable chair, couch and TV, as well as a desk. The kitchen has anything that you may need, fully stocked with dishes, pans, spices and other pantry items. Additionally, the appliances are high quality. The dining room table is large with 8 chairs. Also on the first floor is a full bathroom, with an amazing, large washer and dryer. Additionally, there is a master bedroom with a huge king sized bed and TV. Upstairs has 4 bedrooms, 3 with queen or full sized beds and 1 with a twin. There are TVs in 2 of the upstairs bedrooms. Additionally, there is a full bathroom. The home has a large, flat yard, with a little pond that had a number of bull frogs that were entertaining to find. There is also a nice porch and deck with grill, and a fire circle in the back. The location is great. It is close to Schoodic Point and Winter Harbor, and is roughly an hour from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Our host was very helpful and communicated very efficiently. We would love to stay here again on our next trip to Maine.

Wish we could have stayed longer, our quick tour of Acadia was too short. We had a long drive & this was the half way stop through our trip. Very nice home. Missed air in downstairs bedroom, though

A group of women looking to see Acadia National Park, do some hiking and enjoy the fresh air of Maine. Even though Acadia was an hour drive, there is plenty to do in the Gouldsboro area. the house was just as described with plenty of room to spread out. Large kitchen table to sit and enjoy meals or play games. The only thing i would add is some shade in back yard.

We stayed for a week in July. The house was lovely and clean with plenty of room for teenage boys. We had plenty of spots to explore and relax. Annie was so quick to respond with any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this home. We got confused when trying to find the beach and trail heads so if there are any exact addresses for them maybe have them in the awesome book that came in so handy. Thank you for having us!

The house was perfect for us. Big enough for our family of 8 to spread out but also all be in the same living room or dining room comfortably. We spent most of our time in Acadia National Park while visiting but we also found some fun places to explore closer to the house as well. We celebrated our daughters 18th birthday in the house on our last night and cooked a seafood feast in the well equipped kitchen. We are from Buffalo, NY and our last time to Maine was during her 8th birthday so it was alot of fun recreating some of the pics from when the kids were alot smaller. But the house is very clean, it had everything we needed already inside, the owners communicated before hand to make sure we were all set and let us know they were available if needed and the area was beautiful. Next time we come up we would love to stay here again.
