As you head down the driveway, this beautiful home on South Twin Lake reveals itself through the trees. It welcomes you, your family and friends to all the Northwoods has to offer. The majestic, wood burning, stone fireplace overlooks the great room which overlooks the lake. The fabulous lake views continue in the kitchen and dining areas and into the gorgeous sunroom, which is destined to become a favorite with its wood ceilings and 3 walls of windows. Viking appliances make the kitchen a favorite for the family chef, as will the grills (Kamado Joe charcoal/wood and Weber Summit Series gas). Wake up to lake views in each of the 3 primary bedrooms. There's also room for more family and friends in the lower level which has it's own sleeping quarters, bathroom and living room. Start or end your day in the main floor sauna! Saba Lodge is calling you!
Had a great time with friends at this beautiful property. 5 stars across the board.
This property was everything they said it would be. house is very clean. View was awesome. Kitchen was well equipped and we would definitely come back.
Absolutely loved this place! We enjoyed 7 days of fishing, ATV riding, and just relaxing/taking in the gorgeous view. This house has everything you need for a great vacation!
This is an exquisitely constructed log cabin within steps of a quiet, clean, and restorative large (ish) lake. . . or two lakes. We've been coming to the area for decades and this is thee nicest place we have had the pleasure of staying. Bald eagles soaring above, curious deer wandering the grounds, plentiful fishing, and glistening water. Hosts couldn't be more attentive. 10 out of 10 stars.
Very nice log cabin home; cozy, but plenty of room. Even better than the photos! It was well thought out by the original owner. Interesting touches. All basic usual amenities plus some niceties like two grills, deck, outdoor fire ring, indoor fireplace, plenty of wood, nice yard, dock. Caretakers are relatives of the owner and very friendly and attentive. South Twin Lake is a nice size lake (or you can easily get into North Twin, which is much larger). It is relatively quiet. Pair of nesting eagles one property to the south. Loons. Sunrise views. Very relaxing...would return.
Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at Saba Lodge. The home itself is beautiful, immaculately clean, comfortable furnishings and beds, nice linens with a good supply of great towels in each bath. Kitchen is well stocked with absolutely everything you need! Outdoor area was nicely kept, a great level space with the fire pit to enjoy fires, roasting marshmallows for s’mores, etc. and ample, comfortable seating. Plenty of space for kids to enjoy the outdoors when they’re not in the lake. There is a stepping stone path to the pier. Only a few stairs with new railings makes access to the pier and lake manageable for any age! Enjoy beautiful sunrises from the bench on the pier. We enjoyed having several deer wander through the property daily! Most of all, the property managers, John and Janet, are incredibly nice and strive to insure that your stay is enjoyable.
This house is gorgeous! It has all you need and items you didn't realize you needed! However Janet and Joe, caretakers, are beyond helpful and respond at a moment's notice. The deer that come up to the porch, the eagles that soar over the lake and the loons that call in the morning add to the overall beautiful package. Very comfortable, accommodating and great location. Can't wait to return next year.
Host was very accommodating. The setting was very peaceful. The lake water was great. We greatly enjoyed our week here.
Absolutely gorgeous log cabin style vacation rental that was immaculate inside and out. Secluded north woods location on two Great Lakes for fishing, boating, swimming. Incredible and attentive managers that helped make it a perfect family vacation. Very informative before arrival and during our stay. We couldn’t have asked for anything better.
I almost fail at finding words to explain how perfect this place is...I will give it a try. First the managers, Jon and Janet are amazing! Their communication was spot on, and the walk through was perfect. They showed everything we needed to know to have a great time. They pay attention to the details to the point that you forget you are staying at someone else's property. It truly felt like home. The home-Holy Cow! Beautiful! It is a log home with the most amazing East view of the lake. The living room, dinning room, and sun room all face East which makes taking in the sunrise an incredible way to start the day. I preferred the deck next to the pier overlooking the lake. The bedrooms were spacious, and all the beds were very comfortable. We had a total of 9 people staying. Nobody felt cramped or crowded. The kitchen is a breeze to cook in. Dishwasher and appliances all work as expected. All the pots, pans, and utensils are there to make cooking easy. Two great grills to cook outdoors as well. Both worked great! This is the part about details I was talking about. All the little things are there! The outside is landscaped wonderfully, and there are plenty of Adirondack chairs for everyone. A nice fire pit is stocked with fire wood for your enjoyment. There is a refrigerator in the garage to help stock up on drinks. And the garage is available to park your cars inside if needed. The lake is also amazing. The Twin lakes are beautiful. Fishing was easy, the boat launch is nearby. We enjoyed a lovely dinner of fresh caught bass! Pro-tip- wake up early enough to see the sunrise, you won't regret it.
