Yes the kitchen had everything I needed to prepare my meals. The house was lovely and cozy. We will be using this home again for our summer vacation

Truly a wonderful place! It’s rustic & has a few quirks but it’s very clean & comfortable. Nicely decorated. The game table is amazing! And the view is dynamite!We had a little trouble finding the house as google maps took us to the wrong place but Apple Maps is supposed to be better. This place is a gem. It’s in the country so be prepared for all that entails. All in all absolutely lovely! And the manager Katherine is great too!

Loved the house the host was wonderful!

Even in winter, this home offers enjoyable family together time. The pool/air hockey/ping pong table was more than perfect and the living areas provided ample space for spreading out. Seeing deer along the hillside was a special bonus. We'll be staying here again!

Great location and view. Kitchen is well equipped. Pool/hockey table was fun for the family.

Great views of the lake and wooded CT countryside. The kitchen has everything needed for preparing meals. The pool/ game table provided fun entertainment throughout our stay. Comfortable accommodations. It was also very easy to communicate with the hosts of this property, they always got back to us quickly when we had questions.

The host was very nice and responsive. The house was also beautiful. The only issue I noticed was that there were quite a few ladybugs in the third-floor room. Someone came by the next morning to spray pesticides, which helped reduce them, though there were still a fair number left.

The property was beautiful, clean, and had everything you could possibly need and more. It was close to restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops. There was also plenty of hiking trails nearby. Katherine answered all of my questions quickly.

It’s a great place to stay for the weekend. Has all the things you want to do to relax by the lake.

I stayed here for three nights with my elderly mom. The home is lovely and very comfortable, with lovely linens, updated bathrooms, and luxurious beds. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped for anything you might want to prepare. This would be an excellent spot for a family with children. The hosts were very responsive and gracious. Above all else, the view is absolutely spectacular. I wish i could wake up to it every day. I hope to go back in the fall when the leaves are changing. Highly recommend!

Only thing that was a challenge was carrying the kayaks down the hill and across the street. Living room was a bit hot due to no air conditioner. Host was extremely nice and accomodating and the place was well kept.

The inside of the house was very nice and it was clean with all the utensils and things you would need in the kitchen to make yourself a good meal. The inside of the house met our needs, and we enjoyed our time inside. The Property Manager was responsive to our concerns about the front step that had a loose piece of slate and was fixed the next day. Also three broken outdoor chairs were replaced the next day. The kayaks being stored up by the houses made it difficult to use them due to the steep slope and inadequate staircase leading to the water. The kayak gear was down by the water, but it looked like a trash heap. The outside seems to be neglected. The landscaping and stairway to the water had bushes over the railing, which lead to a beautiful dock. These would be easy fixes and inexpensive to remedy. A little TLC would make it much easier to enjoy this beautiful setting.

Four of us celebrating having or soon to turn 40. House was amazing - I understand some of the comments about the steep hill down to the water, but that did not stop us (use the driveway, don't go down the grass!). Communication with the host was fantastic, the house was in great shape, and there are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. nearby. We all agreed it's one of the best houses that we've rented.

The house was clean and nicely decorated. Had lots of things to do inside and out. Was slightly disappointed that the lake wasn’t closer. when looking on the pictures we didn’t notice that there was a main street between the house and the lake. It wasn’t easy for for some of the guests who get down the steep hill from the house to the street and then another sleep hill to the lake. As long as you know that going into the rental, you’ll be fine.

The house and view of the the lake where beautiful, we went in early spring. There was a lot of games and activities to do in the house the kayaking was nice and everything you needed was included in the house and was very pet friendly. That all being said there was a surprisingly amount of ants for this time of year inside the house, it didn't bother us too much but I can imagine it could be a problem for someone else. The washing machine also wasn't working, additionally note that the house is on an extremely steep hill so getting that kayaks back up was a challenge to say the least it turned into a whole family full body work out. All that being said would 100% come back we had a great Time. All

The best part of the stay was fun with family because of the mini pool table/air hockey and darts. Kids loved it!

Home was pretty much what we had hoped. There were a couple of issues that were explained or taken care of quickly. Well stocked kitchen, fun location mattresses were comfortable. Over perfect for our stay.

We had a friend group boardgaming weekend and this was perfect for our purposes. The table was large enough for our biggest games and the pool table doubled as a backup playing space. The race cars are a nice touch of whimsy too :-) Our only suggestion would be to replace the oversized, too-low chandelier over the table but really only a minor thing.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. The check in is super easy. We arrived from California having been delayed 6 hours and frozen! The house was so warm and cozy. There is a beautiful view from the closed in porch. Can’t wait to come back during summer.

We enjoyed our time over Thanksgiving. The location was convenient and we had fun playing games in the cottage when the weather was not good for exploring. We really liked all the great hiking trails nearby. The cottage has some really nice upgrades, especially the primary bathroom shower, but it has been heavily used. The pictures do make the space seem bigger than what it is. Overall, it’s a very nice place and the manager was very responsive to our questions.

Stayed here to visit family and it was perfect for what we needed. Would recommend staying here.

This house does have a lovely view that allowed us to take in the changing leaves off the reflection of the lake. The house is smaller than it appears in the photos and not quite as comfortable to just hang out, at least inside.The couch fits three, but there aren't other chairs in the living area. There are great little outside areas though. Communication with Katherine was great. Previous tenants had broken the washer which was a drag and due to weather (drought conditions) we couldn't use the fire pit or grill. (Obviously, no fault of the host!) It was clean but lacked the coziness we were hoping for. I would caution folks with little kids to rent, just because the street is so close and very busy. The final night it got really chilly and the heat didn't kick on.

Such a beautiful property! And easy communication with the host. I will definitely be referring family and friends for the future

This lake house was actually amazing! It was so roomy everything was new and clean and the decor was beautiful, it was right on the lake and we really enjoyed the use of the kayaks! Absolutely beautiful cabin and no problems whatsoever❤️

A few quirks that were a bit of an inconvenience but overall I would recommend this property especially for the price. Just was very friendly and responsive.

Great host, easy process.

The house is beautiful and has lots of extras. Loved the fire pit and outdoor area. We had trouble with a missing remote and the management was quick to get back to us. Would definitely consider staying again if in the area. Only note is that the driveway is steep and tricky for low trailering boats Overall great place and stay.
