Our newly renovated lakeview cabin is the perfect place to enjoy a much deserved escape beside Connecticut’s largest lake. Enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise over the lake from the swing in our sunroom or on the deck next to the chiminea. Then enjoy a day out relaxing at one of the 3 private community beaches, fishing off of the docks, exploring the lake by kayak or venturing out to the many nearby hiking trails and State Parks. Only 60 miles from NYC. 7 night minimum.

Stayed Dec 23, 2023We have stayed at a lot of VRBO properties and our very top priorities are always the same - Location and cleanliness. CHECK! CHECK! on both accounts. The view of the lake is exactly as it is in the pictures provided and there wasn't a stray crumb or bit of dust to be found anywhere. I love the use of space: The kitchen is new, clean and very practical, The great room is big and comfortable, the bathrooms are kind of small but new and clean, the bedrooms are older but clean and comfortable. The room pictured the with the telescope in it is great because it can be closed off with a thick sliding door. My daughter was with us for a few days and it was a perfect space for her to work remotely. There's nothing particularly fancy about this house, it just works! I highly recommend a stay here.
