The house was beautiful and was exactly as stated in the listing. We were there to surprise another friend for her birthday and unfortunately were there only 3 nights. We all would have loved to have been there longer. The property is beautiful. I would certainly recommend.

Our group of eight had a fabulous stay at this property celebrating our 60th birthdays. The setting is absolutely beautiful. There are plenty of spaces, both inside and outside, to relax and gather. Our favorite spot was the sitting area down by the dock where we could enjoy the sunshine and the lake.The house is beautifully appointed with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for a group. The kitchen is amazing and fully stocked for cooking and entertaining.We will definitely be returning!

We just returned from an incredible, memorable stay at Donatella’s beautiful lake house! It was spotless, spacious, comfortable and exceeded all expectations! We enjoyed relaxing by the lake, kayaking, paddle boarding and preparing meals together while taking in the spectacular views. The huge indoor and outdoor kitchens are equipped with everything one could need..,and more! We especially appreciated that the drawers and cabinets were clearly labeled which made it easy to find everything we needed, the two dishwashers and two oversized refrigerators. Other wonderful amenities - the Sonos sound system with speakers inside and out, full-size washer and dryer and plenty of lake towels provided.Donatella checked in with us to be sure that we had everything we needed and was quick to respond to our few questions. We highly recommend and look forward to returning next summer!

We had the most amazing stay at this lake house! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the hosts have thought of absolutely everything to make guests feel comfortable. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need — from kitchen essentials to outdoor gear. Tons of lake toys.The lake views were stunning, and we spent hours just relaxing on the deck, swimming, and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Whether we were grilling outside, playing games indoors, or enjoying the many lake activities, it was the perfect escape.What truly made our stay exceptional was the host. Incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful — they went above and beyond to make sure we had a smooth and enjoyable visit.We’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-cared-for lakeside retreat!

Our group of ten enjoyed our rental of this property! Gorgeous views of beautiful Candlewood Lake from this property made it hard to leave. The home is very comfy and what’s nice is to have plenty of lake toys included with the rental. We loved this quieter location on the lake…the R&R was exactly what we needed! The owner is very responsive and made our visit one to always remember!

Whether it was providing local recommendations or ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay, her hospitality truly made a difference.Her house is simply amazing and the different levels of the home provide amble space away from your guests if needed also. Everything is so clean and comfortable that you feel as though this is your home. We spent four delightful days in this lovely home, enjoying the serene environment and stunning decor. It was indeed a perfect home away from home. We can't wait to return! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! My family and I are coming back in July and this is our number 1 spot that we will be requesting to stay at again

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway at the lake house in New Fairfield! Everything was fantastic and the house was absolutely beautiful. Donatella made us feel right at home and she could not have been more welcoming and gracious. The area was so pretty during the wintertime and the lake had a surreal appearance being frozen. It was so quiet and peaceful. The house was so spacious and inviting we felt like we didn’t want to leave! Overall we had a fabulous weekend and would highly, highly recommend staying here!!
