Lakefront home with easy access to Norfork Lake

Loved the tranquility and view of the lake.

Beautiful house& property. Peaceful. Needs to be dusted & cleaned in areas like 2-3 carpet spots that look like animal urine. Also, above the fans is waaaay dusty & there are dead mosquitos everywhere. There was a clump of hair, like pulled from a brush on the living room end table. Lastly, the reason for keyless entry/check-in is for privacy. No house tour needed.

We loved our stay at this property. It looks out over the lake and had room for us to park our truck and pontoon in the drive. In the evening and early morning there is a herd of deer that come through that were a joy to watch either from the deck or the sunroom. The property itself is well tended with beautiful plants and grass areas. We would 100% book this property again.

We spent two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was spotless and the view of Lake Norfolk was breathtaking. We went to relax and did exactly that. The property was filled with wildlife which included 7 deer that seemed to live in the backyard. Lots of birds and the home was set up to view the lake and wildlife all across the back of the house. We will definitely return the next time we simply want to relax.

Fishing wasn’t too good where we were but the entire Norfolk Lake area was beautiful. Robert, our host, was the nicest guy who saw that we had complete privacy. Even saw some deer in the back yard

Although the furniture was dated the property was amazing!!! From thr sun room to the master and balcony, it was beautiful and peaceful. The view was great and the deer were a pleasant surprise. Cant wait to stay again!!!

Beautiful view and quiet neighborhood. Very close to grocery store and Buffalo river and easy access to the lake. Love the spaciousness of the place. The owner is very friendly and personalble. He lives on the lower level but we hardly ever saw him. I inquired ahead of time about a few things and he was able to get me some information. The place was clean, but could probably use a deep clean where all decor on the walls is wiped down and curtains cleaned. The king mattress was really soft and could do with a new mattress and new sheets. Didn't use the 2nd bedroom so no comment on that room. For the price we would probably stay here again. It just needs a few changes especially in the area of bedding.

The ad is a little misleading. It states that the host lives on the property. The host actually lives in the basement of the rental house. Had I know that we would have not rented that property. The home was exactly like the VIRBO showed. However things were very low to the floor . The couch,the bed in the first room,the toliet in the main hallway. The refrigerator was very dirty i had to clean it before we could use it. The house is o.k could use updated. The bedspread in first bedroom was ripped. The host walked us through the house. Never were we shown where extra toliet paper,or paper towels were located. We went out and bought our own (very aggravating) only to find them in the laundry room on our last night. Lack of communication!! I would not stay at this property again only because of the host living in the basement! Yes there were times we could hear the TV in the basement. On the up side the view of the lake was beautiful!! The neighborhood was quiet. The property was minutes from restaurants, public swimming,Wal-Mart, Dollar General, shopping. The host seemed nice just not into someone living there while my family is paying alot of money for vacation and renting the property.
