Lakefront Getaway: Fire Pit ~ Dock ~ Games ~ Family & Pet Friendly

Book it! Lake views for days from the brand new dock, cozy screened in porch, or while you’re entertaining from the kitchen. The new renovations are amazing and the decor sets a relaxed, chill vibe from the moment you walk in. This house is set up for the couples getaway or bringing along the kids. You won’t be disappointed!!

This was a last minute trip planned for Labor Day weekend and we couldn’t have had a better lakefront property. There were so many things for the kids (and adults) to do. Games, pool table, ping-pong, arcade games, corn hole, kayaks, you name it they have thought of everything. Wished we would have had longer to enjoy ALL the things they have available. The screened-in porch was perfect for morning coffee and winding done the day. There is a fire-pit we were looking forward to but didn’t have time to on this trip. We are planning a return trip/s once we look over family schedules. The NEW dock is AWESOME! The areas around the dock is perfect for kids swimming and there are steps available for easy entrance into the lake. We enjoyed the grill and the kitchen is stocked with any/everything you could think of. All you need to bring is your food items. I believe the beds are ‘memory foam’ and are really comfortable. There was plenty of dining seating and barstools at the large counter. Spacious living areas, bedrooms and an awesome large walk-in shower with double shower-heads in the main bedroom. The house layout is perfect. We would HIGHLY recommend this property.

We recently stayed here with our son and his friends. The house has everything you need and more. We played a variety of music from their album selection on the record player, enjoyed the game room, fire pit area, lanai and new deck! We’ll definitely be back soon!

We came to enjoy 10 days on the Lake and see if we’d like to buy a home on the Lake. First off, a great, excellent Lake! It’s warm and so quiet. No worries about too much competition w other boats. I paddled across the lake and not one other boat appeared. Lots of fish jump but we failed to catch any. The house had a little island in front of it. There are so many different kinds of birds which we loved! The dock is gorgeous and brand new. The water near the home is quite shallow but we boated and and floated to see other parts of the lake. We spent hours on the deck. The house is well represented by the photos to a T. The screen porch was a great place for hanging out and playing games. They had extra fans which really helped. The AC and plenty of hot water were key for our group. We used all the fun things seen in the pictures. The west side of the lake (the Greenwood side) is clearly more wealthy. The east side where Nicks home is has more mobile and modular homes. Driving in to the home feels a bit sketchy but literally we saw none of the neighbors. Nicks house is awesome amongst the others. Plus my son got engaged on the dock!

We enjoyed spending the Thanksgiving holidays at this lovely home. It was well equipped and updated.

Fun place to stay. My teens enjoyed the pool table, shuffle board table and games. Screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee and Sunday football watching. We all enjoyed the fire pit each night. Had everything there we needed, owner thought of everything. Perfect stay!

The house was very well thought out. Nick and his wife have really thought of everything to make their guests have an enjoyable stay. Other than having to bring groceries, they had it all. Coffee, snacks, soaps, laundry detergent etc… The back screened in porch was our favorite as we would sit with a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset every evening. The lake was relaxing and not too busy so we were able to kayak several times. We are grateful for them allowing pets as my son was able to bring his two dogs. Both of which really enjoyed listening to the water on the back porch as well. The neighborhood leaves a bit to be desired. Locally there aren’t many places to eat or things to do but if you’re willing to drive than it’s not a problem. Nick was very quick to respond to questions I had. He was a great host. All in all we had a lovely and relaxing week at the lake house. Thanks so much to Nick and his wife for their hospitality.
