Lake View Luxury Suite ~ Downtown Charlevoix Marina District

The Sweet Spot! Couldn't have been more pleased. Right in the middle of everything with a perfect view of Round Lake and the marina, mere steps to dozens of shops, restaurants and fun things to do and see. Joan is a wonderful host! Had one small glitch at the start of our stay and her team was on it - fully resolved in a couple of hours. Wonderful property with every amenity. Gonna miss it badly - every morning around 9:30 the sun turns Round Lake into an enormous chandelier with 10,000 twinkles. Just magic!

This was the place! We loved our stay at this VRBO for our wedding at Castle Farms. This was such a centralized spot. Every time we stepped outside we would see multiple people that were in town for our wedding! a breathtaking view out back and just steps away from all the food and drink options you could need out of the front door! So cute and accommodating. Also, it's pet friendly and there is a very nice park right outside the door to take the pups to potty! the stairs on both sides are a bit steep so keep that in mind for young kids or older folks, but we didn't have any issues!

Beautiful location, ideal porch to view Round Lake and boating activity and right in the middle of town. Parking was a few steps away but great to have. Owner was very responsive to the problems we encounter upon arrival. Condo could use a refresh on bedding and linens. Kitchen had everything needed and we enjoyed the large BBQ on the porch. TV operation was confusing, but finally figured it out. Just a note: steps are steep, not the best for an older couple but we managed. All luggage and groceries have to be carried up and down. Restaurant located just next door, but was never an issue, band played to 9 pm but quite after that.

Great setup for a dog. Also centrally located for downtown. Came with a great parking spot. The deck had a wonderful view of the water. Very nice stay!

The view from the deck of Round Lake was breathtaking! We spent a lot of time out there enjoying the view! Such a great location because you can walk right out to the Main Street and out the back to the marina. I highly recommend!

The apartment was exactly as shown plus so much more! The location is fantastic, the deck space is like having an entire extra room, and the parking couldn’t be more convenient. Even the little things were beyond expectations - the kitchen has everything you could possibly want or need, all of the beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, towels were so plush and absorbent, and the water pressure was amazing. I liked the place so much I have already booked again for next year - highly, highly recommend!

We had an amazing visit. Joan was incredible in helping us when we had to arrive early, use key pad, and find unit. The unit was fantastic!!! We hope to come back.

Condo was very nice and is in a convenient downtown location. We had a couple of minor issues during our stay, however Joan was very responsive and they were resolved quickly. Highly recommend this condo!

This is the 2nd time we have rented this property, it’s our favorite spot in Charlevoix. Beautiful views of Round Lake and you walk out front door into the heart of Bridge Street downtown. We are already booked for 2025 trip, Joan is wonderful to work with!!

We’ve rented various places in and around Charlevoix, and Joan’s Lakeview Luxery Suite is one of our best rental experiences. Unlike some other listings, the pictures posted are accurate and met expectations. The suite is large, clean, and well appointed. The location is convenient and easily within walking distance to casual and fine dining restaurants, as well as numerous shopping opportunities. The views of Round Lake are phenomenal, and we spent a lot of time on the deck (complete with automated awning) just enjoying the the sites and sounds of the marina. Persons with accessibility concerns may find access to the suite challenging, as it is only accessible by stairs. As you are downtown, which is one of the perks, renters should also be prepared that this perk comes with some street noise from being downtown, as well as the light and smells that come from being near street lights and restaurants. That being said, such issues definitely did not detract from our experience, and we would definitely consider returning here for future trips to the region.

Me, my wife and her parents stayed here for our son’s wedding at Castle Farms. The place was perfect, location was awesome with shops and restaurants all around.

Perfect location to fully enjoy Charlevoix! Property was just as described. We could walk anywhere we wanted to go while on vacation here. We had a couple of issues which mgt attended promptly. Kitchen is large and nicely stocked and does also have a Keurig which I think is helpful to know. The TV and Sony soundbar posed some challenge (so MUCH capability and SO many remotes), but we weren't really there for that so it didn't negatively impact our vacation. The bathrooms are very nicely appointed and the owners suite bath in particular is large and comfortable and offers a tub--which I especially appreciated. We'll definitely try to stay here again. A minor issue was the dressers in the main bedroom are quite old and worn and one of the them is losing it's bottom drawer making it a little challenging to get clothes in and out. Did not detract from our experience though!

We had such a great stay in the Lakeview Suite! The very best location for shopping, restaurants, mushroom houses, and a short walk to see the sunset at the Charlevoix lighthouse. We hardly used our car at all. The condo is spacious, comfortable, and clean-with everything you need. The only thing that needs improvement is the primary bedroom mattress….but the other rooms beds were super comfortable! I will definitely stay here again when visiting Charlevoix-I wouldn’t even look for any other place:)
