DESCRIPTION:
Lakeview Cottage
We have been in the nightly rental business for 20 years and we know how to equip our places to make our guests feel at home. We have completely remodeled this home. It is 1400 sq feet with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large kitchen completely furnished with everything you will need but food, and a dinning table that will comfortably seat six people. Each bedroom has a king bed for your comfort. We have 3 Smart flat screen TVs with wifi, Toys for the kids, games for the adults, and a pac n play for the baby. We have a washer/dryer with detergent furnished and all linens are provided. You can enjoy the view of the lake from inside the house or outside on the deck. We have a huge fire pit that is shared with another cabin that we also own. We have patio table and chairs, Oklahoma Joe's smoker grill, and a firepit.

How do we describe the Lakeview Cottage Secluded, Peaceful, Serene, Scenic, Quiet, Beautiful, Amazing view, and more. The house is on the side of a mountain, with a large deck overlooking Fort Gibson Lake. When you stay here you will likely see Bald Eagles, White Tail Deer, and a variety of other wildlife. It is about one hundred yards to the lake, but you need good knees and a strong heart to make the hike to the Lake. You can hike to the lake and fish, and you will have a whole mountain you can explore. Wahoo Bay and Sequoya are only two miles away where you can put you boat or jet skis in the water. There is adequate room for 2 vehicles. If you have a boat or jet ski trailer over 14' you may not be able to park it at the house. You will not be able to make the corner with a trailer! There are several marinas in the area where you can rent Pontoons or jet skis. We are located about 15 minutes from Wagoner and 15 minutes from Muskogee where you will find Wal Mart and many national franchise restaurants at either town.

This is the perfect place to spend a few days fishing, boating, exploring, or just enjoying the solitude and peacefulness of this beautiful home. There is a sharp narrow corner that makes it nearly impossible to bring a trailer.

We have another beautiful log cabin right next to this house. You can see it on vrbo with a headline Beautiful, Majestic Log Cabin Large Game Room and Lake View

We traveled with 2 toddlers over 4th of July weekend and our stay was peaceful and fun. We appreciated the many amenities and that the appliances had buttons/knobs that kiddos could not reach. We were also amazed that there was still a view of the lake with the trees fully green. I would love to be back in other seasons to enjoy all of the beauty the surroundings have to offer. This site is perched on the side of a steep hill in the woods, so be prepared for driving slowly and encountering some critters.

The property was described very well. It was nice secluded lake property but still close enough for local favorites or chain restaurants and shopping. The driveway was a bit tricky at night but only the first night, maybe some lights or reflectors could be put up along the edges of where we the property is located at the beginning of the driveway. Other than that it was perfect.

Honestly, I was really surprised by this property. It is well thought out and things are placed and decorated well. I enjoyed my time and check in and check out was a breeze. It was a little hard to find in the dark but that was just because we arrived late. Larry was great to communicate with and incredibly helpful. All in all, it was a great experience and I would recommend staying here. It was quiet and peaceful.

We were looking for a nice place to stay while in town for the Muskogee renaissance festival. We booked really late in the season which expanded our search to this charming location. Sun rise on the deck with coffee and nature was exactly the magical beginning to our day we needed! we also appreciated the washer & dryer because it rained on us Saturday and we needed to adjust costumes for the next day! haha! I much prefer a home away from home to a hotel stay every time. also the bed we slept in was awesome!! We appreciated the different firmness options, my husband has a bad back, so the firmness was perfect for him and our teenager LOVED the room with the extra soft bed! We also were able to explore downtown Wagoner on Friday, which was charming! Rolled Ice Cream & an arcade to keep the teenager happy! OH! and that BIG MIRROR in the bathroom was my favorite!!

We have a great time! Was a great place for our 82 yr old grandmother to be able to visit with family she hadn’t seen in years. The sunrise is amazing on the back porch.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay. We chose this home because of the view and the kitchen/dining abilities so we could invite our grown kids and 2 grandbabies for Thanksgiving meal. It was a great time. We kept remarking that it seems we didn't need to bring hardly anything with us because there were so many things already there, such as salt, pepper, cooking tools, plates, laundry detergent, children's games, coffee, etc. It was the best stay we have had so far. Thank you!

Cottage was just as described. It truly had everything you would need except food. We loved the deck, beautiful view of the lake and watching the sun rise with our morning cup of coffee. We used the fire pit one night and thoroughly enjoyed roasting weiners and making s’mores. Rooms were spacious and decorated nicely. A large tree that had rotted on the inside fell one evening and blocked the drive. We called the owner/host and he came right away to make sure everyone was ok. He called a tree service and had the tree and all debris cleared in under 3 hours! Owners seem to be really nice, caring people. We would definitely stay at one of their properties again with no hesitation. Thanks for providing our sibling group of 6 everything we needed for our long weekend stay.

My parents and sister met me at this peaceful cottage on the lake. We would wake up in the morning and head straight to the deck overlooking the lake, to see the sunrise and enjoy our coffee. There is a lot to do in this area. Amish bakery and restaurant, state park trails and nature center, scenic drives, and historical sites such as Fort Gibson. I would love to stay here again.
