Come relax in this charming two bedroom/two bath cabin on Lake Fort Gibson (40 min from Tulsa). This secluded, cozy get-away is a few short steps from our private dock and access to the excitement and fun of summer water sports, fishing and 1/2 mile from the Ft. Gibson Wildlife Management Area for hunters; or gather in comfy seating creating memories with family and friends around board games, wall-sized projector movies, or the warmth of a crackling fire. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: Yes, the Cabin really is as charming and cozy and beautiful as the photos. You will feel the warmth of our family’s 3 generations of happy and loving memories. I’m biased, but many guests use the word “magical” and “special”.

But to help you understand if the Cabin is your cup of tea: the beds are comfortable, the heat and air work great, the projection system is awesome BUT this is a rustic cabin, in the woods, on a lake. There is no dishwasher and you will most likely see a spiderweb outside the cabin as they form every night. There is no landscaping in the woods and you might see or hear real wildlife. And, although the Cabin will be thoroughly cleaned just before your arrival- occasionally, you may see a bug or spider inside the cabin after a day or two. If you feel like that might disturb you then the cabin may not be what you’re looking for.

Our intention for our family is not to make the cabin luxurious. For our family it’s a retreat to get away from the noise and pace of our lives- to unplug with friends and family and create meaningful memories in a space of carefree timelessness. We love being close to nature and exploring and engaging the wildlife and lake around the cabin. If that’s your aim I’m confident you’ll love your stay as well. I want guests to love their stay (almost everyone does!) so I hope this helps.

The feeling of home was immediate as we walked in the cabin! We truly had an awesome time and we do hope to go stay there again. The big window in the bedroom where you can set and look out at the lake and wildlife was wonderful. Thanks so much for letting us enjoy your family cabin.

Wonderful place! We loved the charm of the cabin. It truly felt like visiting a distant relative’s home in the best way. The furniture is well loved and cozy, and the personal touches made it fun to explore. The beds were comfortable, and everything was clean without feeling sterile. It felt lived in and cared for.The location was easy to find, and the dock access was amazing. Fishing was a highlight of the trip. While in the area, we also enjoyed golfing at Sequoyah State Park and taking advantage of the nearby hiking trails. We made stops at Dutch Pantry and the Amish Cheese House, both of which were great additions to our stay.We will absolutely be back and are already considering swapping our annual trips from Beavers Bend to here. It is an easy 2.5-hour drive from Norman and only about 30 minutes from family in Tulsa. Hard to beat!

Enjoyed our stay—very comfortable cabin with plenty of space for larger families with kids. The drive access to the cabin may be challenging for some vehicles. We had no trouble getting in-out on multiple occasions. If you really want to take advantage of boat dock and access from cabin shoreline, check with owner on lake water levels. We would stay here again of we had known that.

My husband and I celebrated our 10-year anniversary at this cabin and had a wonderful time. Being able to be away from everything and enjoy a few days of seclusion was exactly what we needed. Everything in the listing was exactly as it said, which we greatly appreciated. I loved the projector set up - very unique. We had a wonderful time. Unfortunately, the walkway to the dock was under water, so my husband had to swim our gear out on the canoe, as he attempted to get in it but it would immediately tip. This was obviously completed out of the owner's control, and we understand that. My husband didn't mind, but with all the rain, there was no other way. We appreciated the space and time to be able to get away for a few days!

My husband and a few friends rented this adorable house for a weekend of fishing! The owner had already warned us about the water being way up, but it didn't dampen the trip. They caught fish, enjoyed time outdoors, and it was the perfect size for the party of 6. We appreciate the communication from the owner - the house was clean & inviting, and the weather was perfect for fishing. Furniture was comfy, kitchen was stocked with necessities, and location was perfect.

Nice scenic lakeside cabin with covered boatdock for fishing. Rustic furnishings but attractive and comfortable. Nice large living room with lake view and lots of comfortable seating. Nice deck. Driveway is a little rough with recent rains
