Lake Keowee Private Waterfront

Coming from the UK, we spent the last three nights of our 2.5-week US road trip at this lake house, and it truly surpassed all expectations. The house itself was fantastic—perfect for our family. The three bedrooms offered plenty of space, and the property had everything we needed, creating a warm and comfortable environment throughout our stay. Saving the best until last, the location was simply breathtaking. With direct access to the lake at the back of the garden, it felt both tranquil and private. We spent most of our days swimming and kayaking right from our own backyard, which was an unforgettable experience. After visiting several locations across the US, we left feeling completely relaxed and at peace—this was by far the highlight of our trip. A special mention to Darol, who was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure everything was just right. He even kindly accommodated us at the end of our stay due to our later flight back to the UK, which was greatly appreciated. Out of the five places we stayed, this was without a doubt the best.

The house was very clean and we had plenty of room for our family of 5. We really loved the quiet cove…it was very peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.

The house was perfect for our trip. Spacious rooms, beautiful views, well stocked and convenient to visit our son. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the home.

Perfect house for our stay! House was very clean and very well kept. Darol was very friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had. What a beautiful Lake! This house is really awesome! We brought our boat here. Launch is 5 minutes away. Dock is great! House is in a very calm bay. Great hiking in the area! We had a ton of fun here and would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful Lake Keowee house!! We came for our oldest daughter’s graduation from Clemson and stayed for a few days following. The house itself is spacious, well-planned, and gorgeous, with the most comfortable beds! We did a little fishing from the dock, although we think it was just too cold for the fish to be biting this time of year, but we saw plenty of bass swimming in the clear water! If we’d had more time we would have made use of the kayaks and SUP’s as well, but we’ll do that on our next visit. We loved the fire pit as well - perfect for the chilly nights we had! The location is very convenient to Clemson, downtown Walhalla, downtown Seneca, and scenic hikes and waterfalls. Darol, the owner, was wonderful and checked in on us before, during, and after our stay to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We will most definitely be back to stay again, and we’re looking forward to enjoying the lake more next time in warmer weather.

Very nice property!

The house is amazing. Very well appointed with kitchen, with lots of cabinet and counter space for our bring-alongs. Great location on a quiet cove, perfect for floating, swimming and fishing. We enjoyed using the firepit every evening.

The house was beautiful and spacious. The lake is just steps away. It had everything that our family could want. We hope to stay there again.

Perfect location

We had a nice time and the host was very nice. I would expect that simple amenities would be provided, for example coffee filters or a basket to make coffee.

Lovely spacious home right on the lake. It accommodated our multi-generational family vacation and everyone had a great time. Bedrooms are huge. Beds comfortable. Outdoor living area has everything you'd need to eat, relax with a water view. We brought our boat and loading/docking was a breeze. (Landing only minutes away.) So many beautiful sights to see on the lake; but you can swim, kayak, or fish right from the dock. Host was very communicative, helpful, and kind.

Beautiful home on the lake very clean. Darol was very responsive with any questions. Stayed there with family for my daughter’s graduation from Clemson just a 20 minute drive to campus. Would stay agin!

This property is as listed. It was very clean. We had a great stay! My favorite things about this house was the indoor/outdoor flow and the numerous out door sitting areas.

Beautiful house, lovely setting

Beautiful, clean and perfect for a relaxing weekend. The beds are very comfortable which is always important to me and the location is perfect to get to and from grocery stores or just the highway into Clemson!

We were in town to visit our Clemson Tiger and go to a football game. We really enjoyed the outdoor space and the fabulous kitchen !

Property was very clean even the BBQ grill so we were pleased. Spacious rooms quiet cove and convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. Best weekend stay we’ve had in a long time

We loved this property! Large rooms, comfortable bedding, well-appointed and amazing climate control. We especially loved the paddleboards! Darol was very responsive to questions large and small. Can’t wait to come back!

This is a great property. Huge bedrooms and bathrooms. Huge Kitchen. Gently sloped property from the house to the dock. Very nice cove for the kids to swim and kayak in. Kitchen/living area and one very large bedroom is on the lower floor then 2 very large bedrooms on the main/entrance floor. Spent a huge amount of time swimming off dock and kayaking. Rented a pontoon from High Falls Boat Rental. Also a great experience. Really like that the property is within 10 minutes of Seneca. Would definitely stay again.
