Spend time inthe main living areas, then step outside to take in the ocean backdrop from the furnished outdoor space. Fire up the BBQ for dinner, linger in the fresh air, and unwind in the private hot tub after a day on the trails or beach. When you’re ready for a mellow night in, board games are on hand.



As Sea Ranch guests, you’ll also have access to community recreation centers featuring outdoor pools, tennis courts, locker rooms, and more (amenities vary by center; see Important Things to Note for reservation info). Explore miles of coastal and meadow trails, visit the iconic Sea Ranch Chapel, and enjoy the natural beauty right outside your door.

• Stairs: The house has stairs.

• WiFi: Provided, but due to the remote coastal location, speed and reliability can vary and are not guaranteed.

• Parking: Parking for 2 vehicles. Parking passes are required and will be in the guest packet inside the home. Sea Ranch does not allow overnight street parking.

• Vehicles: RVs, trailers, or mobile homes are not permitted within Sea Ranch.

• Community amenities: The Sea Ranch has 3 recreation centers with outdoor pools, tennis courts, locker rooms, and more (amenities vary by center). Facility reservations for pool and tennis are available on the Sea Ranch • Association website. Trails and beaches are open.

• Pet policy: This home is not pet-friendly. Please plan accordingly.

• Check in is at 4:00 PM and checkout is at 10:00 AM. We cannot guarantee or approve early check in or late checkout requests in advance.

• We recommend considering travel insurance, just in case any unexpected changes come up. We do stick to our cancellation policy and want to make sure you're covered!

• We provide bedding, towels and a small starter set of essentials to help get you settled. Feel free to message us for details on what’s included.

• Salt, pepper, and cooking oil are not provided unless otherwise noted.

    This trip was definitely one to remember. The views are over the top incredible. Even the drive to the destination for us made us drive slow to really absorb all the scenery. This trip was such a blast with beach’s, whale watching, trails that literally walk you along the coast of CA with waves crashing and just a very all around awesome experience. The home itself was just as good, very welcoming feeling and cozy living room area with movies to watch with the family while you listen to the waves crashing even when the sun is down. This place even has a fantastic working hot tub, but because of all the outside things to do and see and go to we found that we barely used it because we were very much invested in the relaxing vibes the inside and outside of the beach house offer. This is a definite must stay at again type of place for me and my family!

    The kitchen is stocked well! The views from the sink are lovely! The balcony off the kitchen wasn't so inviting, quite frankly--the surface remained wet days after it had rained.

    Check in was easy and the property was ready to go. Location is great, just steps from the Bluff Trail and a short walk to Gualala Beach. The property is more spacious than most places we've stayed at SR, giving us some room to spread out. We were lucky that the second floor balcony had clear views of the water so we saw several whales, and with the provided binoculars were able to see them breach! Bedrooms are large, living/dining/kitchen are spacious. The bedroom with two singles was anppreciated ans our kids won't share beds. Everything was nice and clean. Pretty much everything is provided that you might need, though I always pack a few spices, knives, etc, as I'm pretty picky about that stuff and recommend others do the same as the knives and spices and pans, while well provided are pretty standard fare for a rental. All in all another great trip to SR, the family enjoyed their time and this property is very well accommodating for good sized families.

    We LOVED how clean, well equipped and accurately the home was described.We LOVED the location! Only about 3/4 mile walk to Gualala Point and beach.We saw pelicans diving for fish, foxes, deer, coyote, a small bobcat 20 feet from home, whales galore!Home location is at far north end of Sea Ranch so there is much less foot traffic walking by.At the end of quiet culdasac so kids rode bikes, played pickle ball, threw frisbees, played ball.

    La Costiera was everything as stated and more! Fantastic house. Beautifully appointed. We cooked every meal in the fully stocked kitchen, overlooking the views of the ocean. Dinner was followed by a relaxing soak in the hot tub. There are no houses between you and the ocean, just steps away from the bluff trail. We often watched deer munching on the vegetation, and numerous hawks and pelicans fly by.I stayed in the master bedroom. I was so pleased that the master bath had warm air blowing from under the vanity to keep my feet warm. The other two bedrooms were nicely decorated and comfortable,La Costiera is located on the northern part of Sea Ranch, just minutes from Gualala, and a short walk to the beach.We are already planning another trip in 2026!

    Our family had a wonderful stay at La Costiera and the hosts were fantastic. Property was clean, tidy, comfy with a stocked kitchen. Only negative was the heating element was nonfunctional in the hot tub - kids were disappointed. But management was quick to assess and offered us a refund for the inconvenience. Wonderful home base to explore the region. Easy access to sandy beaches and tide pools beaches. Discovered plenty of treasures that had drifted onto the shore. Neighborhood is very safe and homes are spread out for privacy. The community recreation centers are fantastic for swimming or sitting in the sauna as long as you are comfortable with some choosing to sit in the buff next to you. Highly recommend this home to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.

    We had a great stay. We all enjoyed the beautiful sunsets and views from the big windows on the upper level. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils and had more then enough cutlery. Also I appreciated the prompt responses each time I had a question. I look forward to our next trip! Thank you!

    The verification process seemed a bit over the top. Then after completion and verification the day before the prop an into the next morning I kept getting texts and emails saying it wasn’t complete. After reaching out they confirmed it was completed. Went to Gualala to pick up arrival packet and it wasn’t there. Texted the property management company and they told me to go to the house and gave me a code for the lockbox there that had a key. After that we were pleased with the property and had a great time

    Management sent us a text that should have had codes to enter the home, however, the text had no codes attached. We had to get back in our cars and drive a short distance to get our package and keys. The morning after our arrival the management asked us for a rating but only wanted a 5 star. I asked them to please stop texting, they replied the text is automated. I mentioned their reply wasn't and didn't need to be sent. They continued texting instead of just allowing us time to enjoy our short stay. They even sent a final text just to say they received our request to stop texting. How foolish and unprofessional. As promised, our friend will write another review in their magazines about this experience, including the property address and all of the text messages that were sent to us.
