La Closerie, adorable house, park of the Ormeaux castle, 6 km from Amboise.

Charming property and host. So very welcoming. We had everything we needed and it was spotless.

Excellent and quiet

It was a beautiful comfortable cottage/villa in a quiet area with Amboise 10 minutes away. It’s ideal if you have dogs. We would stay here again if we come to Amboise again. We can’t rate it highly enough

We had a wonderful stay in this pretty house. It is excellent for 2, nice furniture, good bed, en suite bathroom etc, very cosy. Garden was great, our dog loved it a lot too. Location is perfect, very quiet and peaceful, yet just 5 kms from Amboise and its restaurants and sights ans also in the centre of the Loire region. Pascale was a lovely and kind host, who speaks excellent English. We hope to return some day!

Lovely private and peaceful cottage in the grounds of a chateau, owner Pascale was warm and welcoming, well equipped cottage, spotlessly clean. Pascale was always available for queries. Great location to cycle and explore surrounding area, just a few miles from Amboise, hope to return for a longer stay next time.

Pretty little cottage close to a chateau. Felt very authentic. Bicycles supplied enabled us to enjoy the surrounding without always the need for a car. Amboise was the loveliest town with some great places to eat and a winery within minutes. Our first visit to the area and we were so glad we chose this place.

The Closerie is charming, quiet, and cozy. The house is nicely equipped.; the kitchen is wonderful and has all the necessities for an extended stay. The housekeeping is immaculate. Our hostess Pascale has put together a very nice brochure of the local boulangeries/patisseries in the area. she also provided a lengthy listing of local restaurants and vineyards who offer wine tastings. We took a number of extended walks in the area with acres upon acres of vineyards along our walks. Amboise is just minutes drive from the cottage, and Tours about 20 minutes. Many splendi chateaux are within 30 minutes. Nazelle Negron is a quaint community with lots of interesting history. The cottage has a number of very informative books and Pascale is very helpful - all you need do is ask her.

We spent a wonderful, relaxing vacation in this little cottage. It is top equipped and very clean, well maintained, really comfortable (especially the large bed) and also good located (about 5-10 min to Amboise). We felt like at home! The entire property is gorgeous and quietly located. A place to relax. Our landlady was also very friendly, helpful and so kind. If we would come back to the Loire Valley, we would choose this cottage again every time without hesitation. We are truly grateful and happy to have found this little, lovable cottage and we recommend it to anyone, who is looking for some peace and relaxation.

This was a really comfortable place to stay, in the grounds of a chateau. Pascale, the owner, was very warm and welcoming and was always available to reply promptly to any queries. The house was spacious for a couple, and really tastefully decorated. Beautiful outside space, with grass and an enclosed area which was perfect for our dog. Also, it was well equipped. The internet speed was the fastest I have ever encountered - a fibre connection. The property is in a rural location, a few miles from Amboise. It felt very safe and secure. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this place. The area is beautiful and there are so many wonderful places to visit within a short distance. France at it's finest!!

My husband, small dog and I stayed in La Closerie for a week in early September. The property is excellent for a couple, it's in a great location, minutes from Amboise with a great host who was very attentive to our well being, We even enjoyed delicious peaches from the tree in the garden! Overall a very enjoyable stay and we would highly recommend Padcale and her accommodation. We will hopefully be back again soon. Thank you!
