Clean and tidy. Great open plan living kitchen area. Easy off street parking, close 2 min walk to lake.

The house was a lovely quiet location near the lake. The fireplace was a huge hit for the house upstairs. Great to have a dishwasher. Plenty of parking out the back. The house was hard to find in the dark late at night when we arrived as there was no lights on, next time I will ask. Downside to the house was we couldn’t have too many heaters and electric blankets going at the same time for the 3 rooms downstairs as the fuse kept popping, but I’m told this will be rectified. The whole house was super amazing for a large family & friends. Plenty of room for all. Will definitely come again next winter to travel to the snow

Was a great location and plenty of off street parking. Tidy and clean and has everything you need. And an awesome price too! Will definitely be back when it’s warmer weather for fishing next time. Thank you :)

We have been going to kuratau for over 20 years around this time with friends, mostly different properties every year the house was average with nice living area and fire place aprt from that it had leak, only one shower, all heaters can not be turned on at same time so there's place for improvement but the price was cheap.

Great location, short easy walk to playground, lake, tennis courts etc. Lovely sunny upstairs, spacious lounge and kitchen, large dining table for family dinners and great big balcony. All amenities you need.

This place worked perfectly for us, enough space for 2 families, has everything you need. Lots to do in the area all year round. This place isn't fancy but it's great value for money and we had a lovely time. One small problem we had is that the day we arrived rubbish truck came and didn't take the previous lot of rubbish away despite it having the sticker on the bag 'they put another sticker saying it was too big and in the wrong bag'. It wasn't even a large bag of rubbish. The day we left the transfer station wasn't open so we just took all the rubbish home, which wasn't a big deal but might need to check out the recommendations in case the Council have changed their requirements?

We had a fabulous time at this bach. It was lovely and clean and has everything we could need for our stay. We were a family of 7 with ample space for teens and older folk. Beds comfy and plenty of heating options. Room to park 2 vehicles and a boat in a secure parking area off the road. Very close to boat ramp. Happily stay again.

Loved the upstairs living - lounge, dining, kitchen and balcony maximizing the sunshine and making the living space warm. Enjoyed the walk Whiowhio did that twice. Great to see how locals are looking after the bush in their area, also walked to Pukawa and back twice recommend both walks. Had a coffee at Hanging Rock Cafe. Thankyou Meredith - appreciated the peace and the birdsong, Tuis going off with all the kowhai in bloom.
