Great place to stay.

The view was fabulous and the weather was great! The kitchen had all we needed and the accommodations were good. We did, however, get chilled sitting inside. The heat register in the living room was on high and slow to warm and the fire stove didn’t seem to be connected nor could we find instructions for the model. All in all, we had a lovely time.

The view was amazing. The beds were comfortable. We had a lovely and relaxing time.

This property was everything we hoped for. Access to the beach was so easy, the home was clean and the street was quiet. An absolutely peaceful and serene getaway. The hosts were very welcoming and had great communication prior to our arrival. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Our third visit and all was just what we needed. We had mixed weather with plenty of opportunities to walk on the beach, and a big storm that kept us cozy by the wood stove watching the waves come in

Yes, everything was lovely. The third bedroom was a little disappointing as it was kind of chilly out there and the three of us are older people, but I would definitely come back. Thank you for your hospitality.

We experienced an atmospheric river. That was one I didn't know was on my bucket list. Very exciting to watch the storms from the safety of a cozy room.

Something for everyone! If you're energetic, there's lots of beach for jogging/walking. If you have difficulty walking, or are just lazy, there are lovely views from the deck and firepit. If the weather is stormy, sit by the wood stove and enjoy awesome views out the floor to ceiling windows.

Dan is everything you hope for in host. A great communicator and quick to respond to all my questions. This place is absolutely wonderful, the solitude, the ocean views and sunsets, the location just can’t be beat. It was very clean and quiet. The kitchen was extremely well stocked; anything that you could possibly need was there. Both the master and spare beds were very comfortable. Fantastic walks on the beach with our dog. Just a great week for us and our dog. We highly recommend Dan’s place. We will be back!

It was everything it was advertised it to be. We enjoyed the view, peace and solitude. It was a great experience.

The location cannot be beat! The vintage interior has charm and oozes a history of decades of joy. Contact with the host was consistently punctual. Although the Fall days were cool, it did not discourage us from long walks on the beach. Enjoyed the fire pit too. A great experience!

The most beautiful views ever. I stared at the ocean and the dunes for hours. At night I watched the moonset and the emerging stars. I saw three shooting stars.This is the most beautiful and peaceful place.

Dan’s house is THE best. Immediately upon entering, you feel like you are in a family home. It is welcoming, charming, warm and well equipped. It has everything that you need, and things you didn’t even think about (kites, beach mats, cooking utensils, etc.). Once you enter, you are instantly happy. We have stayed at Rockaway many times, but have never had a home like this with the unobstructed ocean view, and you have to walk down just a few rocks and the beach is right there. Plenty of outdoor seating, a grill, table and fire pit, you can’t beat it. The house was super clean, and Dan was amazing and very responsive when we had some questions. Dan’s place makes my whole family happy, life is better at the beach in this home!

“On the beach” was exactly the location I wanted. Looking out the floor to ceiling windows was the ocean! I sat for hours on the deck taking in the view. So peaceful. Great house for a long weekend. We will be back!

Best stay in Rockaway for view and price. We try to go here each summer, but it becomes full very fast. Feels like home with everything you could possibly need.

This property was very clean, well stocked, and had a great location with a 24 hour view of the beach. The master bed was very comfortable, and over all a great weekend getaway for me, my husband and our dog.

Third stay in as many years. So comfortable and well-equipped. Fresh seafood just down the road. Quiet beach with few visitors; no tide pools but they are not far away. Host is easy to access and responsive. Absolutely beautiful, unobstructed view of the Pacific. Twin Rocks right there. We feel like we’re getting away with something when staying here! Thank you for sharing this special place!

Lovely home with an outstanding view!

It was fine. The only problem was the TV was hard to use. We couldn’t get the vcr to work.

This little house is nothing fancy but so comfortable for the two of us. It's right on the beach. To sit on the sofa and appreciate the water was just breathtaking. It obviously belongs to someone who cares making us want to take care of it just as much. For us, this is a diamond.

Views were absolutely beautifully. Cozy and one of the cleanest vacay rental I have been to. Very well stocked in everything. And Dan was great keeping me up to speed. I will definitely keep this one in mind for my next beach adventure.

This is a property astonishingly located up against crashing waves. An architect or contractor would have a field day working on the place. It’s completely stocked from spices to detergents and a full kitchen. In the winter the beach looks like Holland or parts of New Zealand. It’s very warm with electric wall heaters throughout. The host is very proactive to check that everything goes well for guests.

We have been here many times. It's our favorite place to go on the coast. Comfortable & feels like home. Restful & peaceful.

We loved our stay at Knot Very Lodge in Rockaway Beach. The house is perfect and the view is incredible. Right on the beach! The host (Dan) was easy to work with and very knowledgeable about the area. The house is equipped with everything you need. This was our first time visiting the Oregon coast and we cannot wait to visit again in the future. Rockaway Beach is a lovely little coastal town with plenty of food options and things to do. Very much looking forward to visiting again! Cheers!
