Stayed Jun 26, 2025This was our 1st VRBO experience. We came to town for our daughter’s wedding; We needed lodging to accommodate 4 adults and 2 young children. This home was perfect for us, clean and cozy, well stocked. The 2 young children (ok, the adults too) enjoyed the toaster to make waffles by morning and the fire pit to make s’mores by night. We’ll likely return if our daughter continues to live in Alpena!

Stayed Aug 11, 2024Our family of six, ages ranging from infant to grandparent, enjoyed our 5 night stay here! The house was clean and well stocked. Plenty of room for all of us! It was great to have a crib as we didn't need to haul our pack and play. The room with the crib does not allow for great temperature control for various reasons, but it did not seem to bother our little one. Just something to keep in mind. We always bring a couple of box fans, so that helped with air flow. The hosts were super friendly and communicated promptly - no issues just general discussion. The location is superb. We walked downtown frequently, and it's a quick and easy drive to the main attractions, as well as those off the beaten path. We would return!

The location to the beach is great and it was just a 25 minute drive to visit the Rockport State Recreation Area for fossil hunting. A great stay.
