Kill Devil Hills Vacation Rental, Walk to Beach!

It was a fantastic accommodation. Very close to the beach, and the patio is truly lovely to sit on. We had a wonderful meal under the big tree.

Host was very welcoming. The house had everything needed for our short stay. Location was great and the short walk to the beach was super convenient.

Was contacted by Evolve about an hour early and told cottage was ready if i wanted to arrive early. Had a problem with lock initially, owner quickly resolved, issue was my old eyes couldn't see the lock well due to shadows. Everything worked as it should, kitchen was well stocked, beds varied in firmness, so if one doesn't suit you, check another. All in all, a pleasant experience.

Our stay was so wonderful! We really loved this place and it had everything we needed and more. The tree in the front yard is like no other. Having access to a washer and dryer, along with all the beach chairs was really accommodating, would definitely come back!

I love this little house; it was perfect for our small family including a grandparent. It is stocked with towels, sheets, blankets, a vacuum cleaner, full kitchen, working WiFi TV, easy to use thermostat, pots and pans. Then, outside int he laundry room we found so many beach items, even a kite! House is also VERY CLEAN, no bugs anywhere folks, which is amazing for the area. Owner is responsive and has a sense of humor. Love it love it. I already told my husband we are returning.

This charming home met all our needs, from comfortable beds to a fully stocked kitchen. Close to everything. Host was amazing. If I go back, would definitely want to rent.

4 guys stayed while we were racing in an OBX Sailing regatta. Parking was limited.

This house was perfect for us, a short walk to the beach. Some restaurants were in walking distance. Nearby bars in walking distance. Urgent care is a short walk across the street if seeking medical attention. Short drive to the piers of you choose. Grocery shopping was just a short drive. Gift shops are all around this location in walking distance. Free parking was available at the closest pier, if you plan to spend the whole day at the beach (convent when you have all your needs for the beach for the day in your car) We had no issues with this house. The owner texted often during our stay just to see if we were comfortable. THAT Tree! OH MY GOSH! The selling point! The only house in that area with a big, beautiful tree that gave so much shade! The tree covered the entire overhead deck and beneath it. We lived on the deck or on the beach. We did not turn the TV on the entire 6 day stay! My girlfriends want me to book it now for the same time next year for our 2025 girl's trip. I'm definitely booking this exact same home. It was perfect! Thank you for sharing your very comfortable home with us. We also had everything needed, sheets towels washcloths and any dish needed for our kitchen needs. the house was walking distance to the beach, (maybe a 5 minute walk). you will have to climb 2 levels of stairs to get to the main huse. it was 3 bedroom, 1 bath. the kitchen was stocked with all the cookware you would need to prepare your own meals. you would need to buy spice and things like that it had a washer and dryer in a outside and downstairs storage room. we had access to umbrellas and lawn chairs if needed. the front had a full front porch with a huge tree that shades the entire porch during the hottest time of day. it was a nice little house but it needed some extra cleaning done in the main living areas. several rooms had heavy dust hanging on the walls, curtains, mirrors. the stove and refrigerator needed cleaned inside and out. we found things under the beds that had been left by the previous renters. if you can overlooked the dust and stuff it is a nice place and (my opinion) a safe and friendly neighborhood to stay.

We were so pleased with this house! We would definitely stay here again.

Walking distance to the beach, nice yard, needed a good clean. Communication was excellent!

Great stay. Porch is in the shade all day long. Great mid-century beach vibe. Lots of beach accessories to use. A short walk to the best beach access on the Outerbanks at the Lifesaving Station. We used the outside shower every beach trip. 2 block to ice cream. How can you not love that.

The front deck and tree were the best part of this property. Luckily the weather was nice and we were able to be out there. The dishes were dirty, the house was musty, we had to buy our own toilet paper and dish detergent. It was extremely dusty and the floor was dirty. The washer and dryer space was musty. Some amenities were not available.

We had so much fun and definitely want to go back. Kids had a blast. Need to stay longer next time!
