Stayed Jun 7, 2025Ideal location, great layout, comfortable and well cared for. Would have liked to know ahead of time that no toilet paper or other amenities were included. We knew sheets were included, but not towels, so we rented boogie boards and towels from a local company. Walking distance to Target and Avalon Pier, so our teens could come and go as they pleased. Lovely top floor balcony. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. This was my first experience of booking through VRBO but having all details handled by the on-site management company. That arrangement wasn't clear on the VRBO listing or acknowledged in the paperwork sent by Carolina Shores, so it was a bit confusing. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we would certainly book again.

Reviewer Comments: great location easy walk to the beach house was clean and maintained the house is good size for 4 to 5 people the hot tub seemed old and wasn't working properly other than that we had a great stay and would recommend this house to friends and family.

This is the second year in a row Ive stayed at this location. This property is fantastic. I do however think the management company could use some work. Both times I stayed it was a HUGE hassle to get paperwork submitted to them. I authorized my last payment and they never took it until I called three days before the trip and asked about it. This last time the linens werent installed when I got in. Thats not a huge deal except I paid for the service, They fixed it after I asked about it and were great in doing so, and very apologetic. I think that if they take this feedback and work on improving this would be a grade A experience.

Great location, right on a part of the beach that is not overly crowded, a number of other great restaurants nearby.
