Katama Beautifully Landscaped close to Beach/Edgartown - Air conditioned

When you check in you will find our home super cleaned by a professional cleaning service. During the summer we normally rent Saturday to Saturday. We do not provide linens and towels, but we do provide blankets , bed spreads, mattress pads and pillows with clean covers. As for towels and linens, our renters either bring their own or make delivery and pick up arrangements with island services. And we suggest you bring beach towels.
Our home sleeps 8 maximum no matter what age. Bedsare as follows: down MBR: king; up bed: queen; up bed: two twins and up bed: two twins. We do not provide daily housekeeping service but if you want daily housekeeping services, please let us know and we can give you some referrals.
Our kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, dishes, silver ware, cups, glasses etc. We provide several paper towel rolls, 2 toilet paper rolls for each bathroom, garbage liners for kitchen can, hand soap for each bathroom, cleaners in broom closet, and dishwasher detergent.
The open floor plan provides a comfortable living area sun-drenched windows; light, bright and clean; kitchen with everything you need for carefree beach vacation; private setting but very close to bike path and island trolley that both go all over our special island. Just down the road are Katama Bay town boat launch (free launch service) and Katama Bay soft shell and quahog clamming (license required from town clerk); at that launch, drop your kayak or boat and venture over to barrier beach or up Katama Bay to Edgartown Harbor. Surf fishing is great at South Beach, also known as one of world's best beaches, South Beach has lifeguards on duty most of the season, bathrooms, change room and free parking .At South Beach is entrance to trustee's reservation if you have a four wheel vehicle (fee for registration); or you can bike or walk north to Edgartown village for a bite, shopping, a movie or for quick trip over to Chappaquiddick island which is a part of Edgartown.

Accommodations and Amenities:
Central Air Conditioning. Central vacuum; pine floors throughout; and oscillating fans for each room. Price includes all utilities and trash removal; internet/WI FI, cable TV with music stations, DVD and radio. A no pets and no smoking policy are central to keeping our house a clean, “beachy” home. An outside water hose next to parking area is available so you can wash down your car, beach or fishing gear ( or let the kids have a water fight !); outside swing set and clothes line are both in the back yard; outside post lights and flood lights for nighttime events. A picnic table is conveniently located of a grass patio just outside the kitchen door and barbecue deck (you can use our large rustic brick BBQ or one of our gas grills). There’s plenty of lawn furniture to enjoy the sunset from the vantage of the front lawn.

Location Summary: Beautifully landscaped with large lawn in a private quiet residential neighborhood; clean and well maintained recently renovated 4 bedroom 2 ½ bath gambrel cape cod style home in desirable Katama area just minutes south to public South Beach (lifeguard, restroom and free parking) and Katama Bay( boat ramp, shell fishing and kayaking). Also just minutes north is historic,walkable Edgartown village, harbor, and Chappaquiddick 'on-time' ferry all of which are reachable by bike path and island run trolley. Our home offers warmth, peace and fun for young and old alike, your family, guests and friends. All points on the island are easily accessible via public bus including hospital, airport, cultural activities and other island towns and beaches. Martha's Vineyard is an island located 8 miles off Cape Cod.
Directions: From Edgartown village, go south towards South Beach, turn onto Crocker Drive and then turn onto Waller Way. You are solely responsible for making Ferry reservations.
