Everything was in good condition and satisfactory on all points. The bedding and furnishings were some of the best that we have experienced in other rentals. This home made us feel very comfortable and we would recommend staying here to our friends and family in the future.

My family, friends, & I really enjoyed our stay in Jane’s home. It was even nicer in person than in the listing (which is great too). The kitchen was stocked with anything you could possibly need. There were 2 whole cabinets filled with games for all ages & a cabinet filled with everything you could need for a great cup of coffee. (Filters, sugar, creamer, coffee) It was a very welcome surprise! The property is in a great location, minutes from town & just a short drive into Rocky Mountain National Park. We enjoyed watching the elk that came to visit across the stream one morning. If I’m ever in the area again, I would absolutely stay here. Thank you, Jane!

We stayed here for our son’s destination wedding and it was beautiful. We had a group of 12 ages ranging 8-67. Everybody had a comfortable stay, the house was very clean and every detail was thought of. There was an air hockey table for the kids that kept them busy for hours. It was close to restaurants and the location is beautiful. This is absolutely the place to stay if you are coming here.

My family of 10 had the most amazing experience! The house was super clean, the views were amazing and we absolutely loved the river access!! I loved how each room had their own fireplace and could control their room temperature. We had the pleasure of having it snow while we were here so it just made the trip ten times more special! The younger kiddos got to see the wildlife in the backyard and stated “we want to live here forever!” 11/10 would recommend to any and everyone! This might just be our annual family vacation rental house

This is a beautiful place to stay. Peaceful and relaxing. It’s right on the stream and has an extremely nice back patio with beautiful views. It’s a very comfortable and inviting mountain home with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Super close to all amenities.

Beautiful home with plenty of space. Host checked in on us often. The environment was perfect. Felt like a cozy cabin in the woods by the mountains and when it snowed, the snow painted the mountains and trees white. It felt like living in a postcard.

We had a wonderful time! The amenities were excellent, plenty of pots for cooking and lots of games were available. The river view was very relaxing.

This house was beautiful, and the view of the river was awesome. This house was perfect for 6 adults and 5 kids! We had a lot of space to spread out and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The surrounding area was quiet and close enough to downtown. We would love to come back in the summer.

Beautiful scenery, inviting and roomy. There is plenty of room for a large family gathering. All of the amenities of home. The home feels so warm and inviting. The hot tub was perfect.

Book with caution! We booked this lovely home immediately after confirming our wedding date at the Landing, a wedding venue a short walk away. As this was one of the largest homes nearby the Landing, we had hoped that it could be a casual gathering spot for our family while it was cold outside. This is an incredibly respectful group of people that we have traveled with previously, and we leave the homes we have stayed in previously in impeccable condition- we did not think it would be an issue to have a few additional family members visit the property to spend time together. Two days prior to check in, at 11pm at night, the host requested drivers licenses from all of the guests staying here with a deadline of 3pm the following day. LESS THAN 24 HOURS TO GATHER AND SEND HER ALL THE DRIVERS LICENSES threatening to cancel our booking if we did not send them.She informed us that if anyone was on the premises besides them, our reservation would be terminated. This was 3 days before our wedding and resulted in this booking being most stressful aspect of our entire wedding weekend, despite coordinating accommodations for 70 people across 5 accommodations.The host’s communication was short and sharp throughout all of this- despite us scrambling to comply with her absurd requests. There are cameras around the whole property exterior. Be warned. We would have stayed far away from this property if we had known about the unkind nature of the host.

My five kids and husband and I come to Estes every year, as we are Colorado natives. We’ve stayed at about 11 years’ worth of VRBO’s, and this one of our all time favorite. The place itself was so lovely and thoughtfully packed with convenient accommodations (all the kitchenry one actually uses! Spices, beautiful crockery, well-stocked toiletries, tons of towels for the hottub and flip flops one could use for example) and super fun amenities. We played ping pong and air hockey all weekend long and the hot tub right by the river is gorgeous. And most honorable mention to the steam shower! The porch and patio welcome family/gathering time so beautifully. This is one of the only places that truly cleans all the corners and keeps up with the carpet, the dusting and treating well, the wood and beautiful quartzite counters. It is still a lodging off the river and has a cabin feel but it is well loved and curated and cared for. All my boys felt that and said this is their favorite place so far!

Beautiful property! Was perfect for our group! We loved every part of it. Great location. We had our bull elk bugling and crossing every day.

Have stayed here several times and just love it ! All the bedrooms have king beds which is nice, no one fighting for the king bed! Love to listen to the Big Thompson flowing behind the house at night when going to bed. Great location too.

Jane’s home is amazing . Very spacious for our my family and grandkids ! Each room is decorated beautifully ! The first vacation rental that I’ve stayed in that each bed is as comfortable as mine ! The kitchen is so stocked , you need to bring absolutely nothing . Loved being on the river , my husband and son in laws fished every morning and evening in between our hikes in Rocky Mountain National park . The hot tub was used every single day as well. Close enough to walk to town , which we did a couple of the days we were there . The only bad part about this trip was everyone was not ready to leave after a week . We all agreed we need two weeks ! Everything was great , stay here!

We loved this property. It was our second time staying here. Last time was in 2020 and we plan to stay here next time we come back. The kids loved that they could fish whenever with the river so close. One evening we had 8 elk in the river and we loved sitting and watching them from the back patio. Perfect location, close to the park and close to downtown within in minutes.

The check in process was fairly straightforward, and the owner provided the code details with ample time before check in.The house was clean and well stocked. The kitchen had a good sized cabinet pantry, as well as additional cabinets for more food storage. There were plenty of pots, pans, sheet pans, kitchen tools, etc. The only thing we could not find was a spatula, but we may have missed it.The kitchen had a drip coffee and pod coffee maker.The living room was very spacious and the dining room table was able to easily accommodate 10 people and a lot of food without issue.All of the bedrooms have fun themes and comfortable beds!The river running in the backyard was just an amazing feature because of the sound and the beauty. If you want to walk it, I suggest you buy/bring water shoes to protect your toes. We saw an elk feeding and drinking from the creek bed and creek most of the days we were there. The back porch and balcony were very comfortable and provided both shade and sun options.If you are visiting to hike Rocky Mountain National Park, you cannot beat this location. We were able to get all the way to the parking lot at Bear Lake Trailhead within 35mins. You can be inside the park within 10 minutes. The Safeway is not far from the house, and there is a surprisingly well stocked corner grocer just a minute or two from the house.We had some small hiccups with the house, but the owner was quick to respond.

Beautiful property right on the river. Perfect size for our family of 10 with out getting “under foot”. The amenities are fabulous, and would highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit the wonderful town of Estes Park, CO.

The house was in the perfect location to visit Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The river running right next to the house was magical, we loved sitting out on the deck. We saw wildlife daily especially Elk! The hot tub and air hockey were enjoyed. The owner was very responsive to our questions.

This property was perfect for our group of 12. The beauty within and without was breathtaking. Jane was wonderful to work with, and we would love to return.

Clean, comfortable, lots of amenities. High end. Super quiet. Osprey nesting at the river, hummingbirds, elk in the mornings. Loved it.

Our family gathered for a memorial serivce. We had four couples and the fmaily matriach :) in the house. AMazing property on the river. Very spacious and room for everyone. Kitchen had everytign one would need. The rec room/family room/living area was also large engouh for all of us at one time. Beurifu setting rigth on the river with spacious decks to enjoy peceufl morning coffee and see the wildlife - elk/coyotes/birds. Great hot tub on the deck fwith perfect chilly April nights. Wonderful place - cannot recommend it enough - amazing!

We absolutely loved every moment at this place! It was beautiful, spacious, clean and well stocked! The location was right against the river and close to town! The decks were amazing for coffee and we really enjoyed the hot tub! We didn’t want to leave! Will definitely be back! Thank you Jane!!

Highly Recommend!! The house is as shown and described. Well stocked kitchen, awesome views and abundant wildlife. More than enough room for our family of 9. Location is perfect and Jane was great to work with! Would definitely love to come again!

The vacation rental was just as it looked. Our group loved staying out here and we kept saying how beautiful everything was. We stayed early spring, but will definitely be coming back in other seasons!

The property was as listed and a great spot for our work retreat. The multiple rooms/bathrooms were welcome for our group to have their privacy and the dining table was just the right size for us to discuss strategies. The hot tub was also nice and the view of the frozen river was unique.

This home is so gorgeous, comfortable, and spacious for a larger group. We had plenty of room for our group of nine. Home was incredibly clean and well stocked with beautiful views and easy access off the main roads. Would love to stay here again.

We had our first family trip with our children and grandchildren and the place couldn't be more perfect. So clean and any questions I had of the owner, she responded right away. We would definitely like to come back to the home and also would recommend to others.

We all had an amazing holiday. The house was perfect for the 12 of us. We saw coyotes on the frozen river and area behind the house nearly every day. We would all come back again.

Had an early Thanksgiving with my family and the house is amazing! Beds are comfy and the kitchen is stocked and the hot tub was a hit!

This is one of the nicer short term rentals we have stayed in: high quality furniture, comfortable beds, updated bathrooms/kitchen. The location being right on the river is so beautiful. Jane takes great pride in her home and does her best to accommodate however she can. Be aware that there is a rental contract that you agree to when booking the property. Its requirements are slightly more involved than most short term rentals. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

The cabin is beautiful, and the photos truly reflect its charm. We especially loved that each room featured a king-size bed. However, there are a few things to keep in mind when booking: 1. Notifications: Be sure to enable VRBO notifications. I missed several important messages from Jane until the first day of our stay, which made check-in stressful. She requested names, phone numbers, and ages of all guests, as well as IDs to confirm that everyone was 28 or older. If anyone is under 28, a parent must be present. One of our guests was just under 28, but Jane kindly made an exception. Some guests felt uncomfortable with the strict requirements, as we had not encountered such detailed restrictions with other rentals. Others understood that Jane may have had prior negative experiences with renters, and it appears this is a standard procedure based on other reviews. 2. Rules & Guidelines: Read all rules and requirements carefully. For example, no noise, parties, or gatherings are allowed, and we were required to wash and dry towels used for the hot tub before leaving. Honestly, we were paranoid of missing something from the rule book and thought we’d get charged extra if we did. 3. Credit Card Fees: Be aware that the 3% credit card fee needs to be paid separately before receiving the entry code. We assumed it was covered with the large payment, but it wasn’t. Overall, the stay was lovely, but these small details made it stressful.

Our family stayed at this home and had a great time. The kids loved the air hockey/pool/ping pong table and we all loved the hot tub. The kitchen was great, fully stocked. And right on the river, beautiful!

Everything was great! Location on the river was incredible and it was definitely roomy. Only complaint was pool table rail was messed up, no ping pong balls, and a tv not working in one room. Other than that, great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the River House! It was very spacious and clean. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook, and the lovely backyard with the river view was a great spot to unwind. Plus, the location was perfect for visiting the national park and the nearby town. I highly recommend it!

We had 12 women who were in town for a retreat staying at this amazing property. The location was absolutely stunning along the river. The rooms were very comfortable. Kitchen was amply supplied with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The best part was getting to watch a herd of elk hang out right across the river. This is one of the best VRBOs we all had ever stayed in.

Our stay was amazing! We enjoyed the sound of the River when sitting outside and relaxing. Saw a bear and elk in the neighborhood. We are long time vacationers to Estes Park! We will stay at this property for sure again!

Our stay at this beautiful home was my favorite VRBO ever!! The setting is spectacular, the house is spacious, well-equipped, and clean with clear instructions. Very comfortable beds too! The location right outside RMNP was perfect and it was easy to drive into the main part of Estes Park. We absolutely loved every minute of our family vacation here and were sad to leave at the end of an amazing week!

This house is spacious, fantastic view over the river. This property is the best stocked place we have ever stayed, from the complete kitchen to the toiletries. The elk were our frequent morning visitors. The kids could be at one end of the house while we were at the other in complete quiet. The private deck was our early morning slice of heaven.

Perfect property for two or more family member groups, with a separate bedroom/bathroom area on one side of the house. Beautiful large windows in living room with view of the river. Nice backyard area by the river for relaxing and enjoying meals outdoors. Would recommend for a wonderful Estes Park vacation.
