It was a great place to stay, close to everything like the beach, bike riding, movie theater, and stores. The house was big enough for our entire family. There's plenty of sleeping areas and even extra mattresses for a large family like mine. This house was perfect for a large family. I would highly recommend staying there again.

Our family stayed for 6 days to celebrate my son's recent high school graduation. The home was exactly as described and Judi was a great host.

We came in as a party of twelve and left with no complaints at all. The house is a ten-minute walk from both the beach and Target, and a short drive to plenty of other activities. It has plenty of rooms with great air ventilation, wifi and utilities, and a great shower/bathroom count that never inconvenienced us. Would absolutely recommend for summer trips.

This rental was amazing! No issues at all. Very clean and kept up nicely. A lot of space for a lot of people. Close enough to a lot of stores and beach access. The personal touches throughout the home gave a sense of closeness of family and it was great to learn more about them. We will definitely stay in the future and will recommend to others. Thank you for helping us to celebrate our anniversary in a nonstressful environment.

This is a very nice place. Close to the beach and many stores. Not far from attractions like Wright Brothers and state parks. Adults and kids were all happy. We all had plenty of room for downtime at the house and more than enough room for sleeping. It was a big hit for our family.

While my family and I enjoyed the property, we did not find it to be as described online. It indicated that there is a hot tub and there is not a hot tub on this property. It also mentioned a fenced in back yard and while there are fences, they are the neighbors fences and it is not enclosed. The floors were very sandy when we arrived and the ice machine needed to be cleaned. This property was very convenient to so many great places and regardless of the incorrect description, I would stay here again.

The property was clean with plenty of beds and sitting areas and the A/C worked great. Great for a large family or friend gathering.

The property was more than adequate for out needs. The ADA bath was appreciated. There was space for the family to come together as well as space to separate for alone time. We enjoyed our stay.

This house was nice and clean and within walking distance of the beach if you don't mind crossing the busy street. It had all of the basics. You do need to bring your own sheets and towels which we were all able to do. One problem we had was that it states that there are blankets for all the beds, but we used the two rollaway beds and the trundle mattress and there was only one extra blanket in the whole house to be shared between the three extra beds. I called the hostess and she recommended using the throw on the chair in the living room as the second blanket. My son happened to bring a small blanket for the car and we used that for the third blanket for that last bed. People who are planning on using those beds should know so that they are prepared. Also, there is quite an extensive check-out list but the check-out time is on the earlier end (10 AM). It makes it hard to get everything she wants done. For example, many other places we've stayed ask that you start the dishwasher before you leave. This house asks that you wash it and then unload it as well. Kind of hard to get both of those in with a 10 AM check-out. Laundering of dishcloths and hot pads is similar. An extra hour before check-out would be helpful or a more realistic checkout list. Despite those few things, we had a lovely vacation and appreciated the Kneas Cottage. The hostess answered quickly to all of our questions. Thank you for sharing your space with us!

The house was perfect for our stay. We had adults and one almost teen and everyone had plenty of space! Super close walking distance to the beach, Target and Wawa. And just a short drive to anything else. We would love to hold our family reunion here again next year! Thank you for a great place to get together!!

Great time at this property in Kill Devil Hills. The host was available and helpful whenever needed. Vrbo didn’t contact us till the day before we were to access the property. We became a bit nervous about entrance to the property but the host allayed our fears and all was well. Spacious, clean and very comfortable! Thank you Kneas family!
