Peaceful area, wish there was more of a beach, but great waterfront

The location is what makes this property so special as it’s right on Narragansett Bay. Hosts are responsive and access to property easy. Right next to Heads beach. There is nothing better than starting one’s day with a cup of coffee seated in an Adirondack chair in front of the bay.

Amazing stay! Our family was happy to stay at this cozy cottage with amazing view each morning. We love the island! Host was attentive to all my questions. Will definitely be back!!

The location of this rental can't be beat. I loved having my own private beach and the two Adirondack chairs were great for watching the waves from the lawn. The house is older and could use some updating, but it had everything I needed (except tissues, easy enough to pick up if needed).

Property is musty smelling, unclean and has ants on the kitchen counters. Also has TWO boarded up windows which is not shown in the VRBO pictures. Property is advertised as Completely refurbished with new floors, bathroom, paint, deck, beds, and living room furniture are all new. It does have new floors, maybe new paint on the walls(?) but ceilings are very dirty and so is all the trim. Shower is poor with peeling paint on the shower walls and bathroom sink/cabinet has not been cleaned in a long time. Kitchen table, refrigerator and tv were also dirty. Exterior walls of the property are in desperate need of paint. Location is good but property was a major disappointment.

This property was very comfortable, clean and located in a wonderful spot. The house had all the implements needed to make our stay very special. My friends and I had a great time sitting on the porch and just enjoying the view of the water. We would love to come back sometime soon.

I could spend my entire trip sitting in an Adirondack chair looking at the Narragansett. We’ve rented the house more than once as we come to the area annually. Great location in cute enclave of Jamestown.

Beautiful property with stunning views of the bay gorgeous sunsets easy access to the beach only things i would recommend would bring water shoes the beach is mostly shells and would’ve loved to be able to open windows to enjoy the breeze and sounds of ocean but I was informed that wasn’t possible there were no screens on windows or doors such a shame

Highlights included sunset views from the back porch, the beach next door, nearby tourism by ferry to Newport, and the two moorings right at the property.

Our family of four stayed here Fourth of July week and we had a great time. The location on the water is just what we were looking for. Jamestown is a nice and quiet place to stay, but you can be in Newport in 15 minutes. The kids loved the beach next door and the bunk beds were a big hit. It was great to have dinner every night on the deck overlooking the water. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for the week. We would definitely look to stay here again!
